Best (or worst) game based on a movie?
 

Spider Man; not bad.
The Thing; great potential, ok game.
The Matrix.... could be awesome!

How bout the other way around; Resident Evil was a great movie based on a game. Wing Commander... NOT.

If only they had a Zero Wing movie! With the bad translations and everything, that would be great!

Oh, and for the record, I think the worst movie to game I've ever seen was Goonies. Since when the heck did they beat up bad guys with a Yo-Yo?

Best? Probably Harry Potter. I'm too tired right now to back that up with a reasonable argument, but suffice it to say, that's what I think.

I dunno, the Super Nintendo series for the holy trilogy was pretty enjoyable.
But I desperately long for a game based on Spirited Away, and I can't tell you why. Maybe the aching void left by the brevity of ICO.

The worst Ive played is the computer version of Lord of the rings.. Since when does it take five hours to get out of the shire? Im told the playstation version is much better

The worst I can think of was "The Rocketeer" for Super Nintendo. The only good thing about it was the cloud graphics were cool.

WORST is Jame Bond 007: Nightfire.

I liked The Thing game a LOT, MUCH more than Spiderman which I really bored of rather quickly and didnt even get halfway through before uninstalling.

oh amn.. i second the friday the 13th vote.. possibly folowed it up with the "a nightmare on elm street" game..
soo bad. The "Street Fighter:the movie" game was pretty awful.. but does that count? There is something very wrong with making a game based on a movie based off a game.

The Fifth Element game was pretty awful...as was the Braveheart game. The Braveheart one actually had potential, but dear god what a waste of money..

Yeah, most game's based off of movies suck.
As for the other way around-
Mortal Kombat-- Awesome
Street Fighter-- Bad
Mario Bros-- Bad

I thought Judge Dredd was a pretty good game considering it was based on a movie and all.

I really don't think that counts...

I'm a fan of the lord of the rings game...because it is realistic to it's FIRST MEDIUM....THE BOOKS!!!! Anyone ever hear of those?

Anyways, it takes about 30 years to get out of the shire, so 5 hours isn't too bad now is it?!:)

The Blade II game is supposed to be horrible.

But even though this based on a tv show and not a movie, the Simpsons Skateboarding is supposed to either the worst game ever made or close to it.

Worst would probably have to be Goonies II on NES... even though I don't think there was a Goonies II movie, Goonies II is still the worst game I have ever played.

The new Robocop game is pretty terrible too.
