FFX Question: Help! I'm Stuck! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Okay, got a PS2 for Christmas, I am currently playing FFX and am loving it. However, I'm having a spot of trouble at the Cloister of Trials in Djose. I got through the first door, but now I'm having trouble getting across that great big old chasm that is laced with lightning bolts. Someone please help me out here!

I googled it, I just don't trust google for this kind of stuff normally. So I figured I would ask some of the people here to help me out. However, google actually came through for me this time. Prolly cuz it's not a brand new game. Anyways, thanks for stuff? I donno, I'm sure someone would have come up with the answer and to whoever has it, thank you.

Even though you got it, I'll just post it... instead of posting a link like those two mooks did.

Spoiler: After the first door, take two spheres to the right compartments, then push the pedestal with one sphere within it under the flame in the ceiling there. Take the new flaming sphere from the pedestal and place it in the spot next to the second door, which will open it. Now take the two spheres you put in the wall before and put them on each side of the pedestal. Push the pedestal through the second door and into the gap. It will float. Jump across and push the thing on the other side, then jump back. Return the pedestal to it's original position by stepping on the glowing floor panel to the left of the second door. Now move your glowing sphere to the spot on the other side of the second door and take each of the other spheres to the spots beyond the first door. Voila.

Thanks for making the effort Hal, maybe it'll help someone else (although I think I'm the last person on earth to play FFX for the very first time). Suggestion though, maybe there should be an official Game Help Thread, just in case some other people get stuck in places, I have seen a few separate threads for game help, so maybe they could all be compiled? I donno, just a thought.

lol, that made me chuckle. It's a great game, I just can't believe I've been missing out all these years, I'm glad I stopped being a Nintendo Whore (all my previous systems were Nintendo, and only Nintendo).
