Your Console Collection
Don't think I've seen any threads on this so I thought I'd be the one to start it, so which consoles do you own, which do you love the most and which do you think you'll still be playing in 5 years time?
Me, I own... Atari 2600 (dying slowly) Commodore 64 Amiga 500 (I think, in the garage somewhere) Mega Drive II (PAL Genesis)(Sonic for life biotch!) PlayStation Nintendo 64 PlayStation 2 GameBoy GameBoy Pocket GameBoy Advance SP GameGear A good friend of mine has double this collection, makes me look like a pussy. I love my Mega-Drive II (PAL Genesis) the most, I grew up with it and Sonic is a beautiful beautiful game, no doubt I'll be playing it still in 5 years time, my GBASP I might still play, Sonic Advance and FFTA rock (however FFTA isn't letting me sleep...).
Nintendo Entertainment System
Super Nintendo Entertainment System (we play Chrono Trigger on it every now and then )
Sega Genesis
Sega Saturn
Gameboy Pocket Color
Gameboy Advance SP (currently playing the hell out of it..FFTA)
Sega Dreamcast (my brother currently played Code: Veronica on it)
Playstation
Nintendo 64
Playstation 2 (we have two of them; played all the time)
Gamecube (play it all the time)
XBox (play it all the time)
Anyone think we should make a "List your videogame collection" thread? Or maybe we can just add them to this thread? It's a interesting thread, Deflok. Makes me want to list my videogames and remember the good ole days. -Lasereth

And almost all in good working order... I think I collect consoles more than the games!
Intellivision (controllers are almost pooched though) Colecovision Atari 2600 Sega Master System Sega Genesis Sega Genesis II Sega CD Sega Saturn Dreamcast (works, but I think it's on it's last legs.) Game Gear (best handheld ever made! ) Atari Jaguar 3DO NES Super Nintendo N64 Gamecube Turbografx 16 (love my Turbo!) Turbografx CD Philips CDI (I got this for a gift, don't mock me... ) Playstation Playstation 2 Microsoft XBox Hmmm... I think that's it. When we moved a few years ago, I stopped really "collecting" games and consoles, and lost interest in it. Haven't opened up the collection in a few years. The only systems I still play - and even them not too much - are the new generation consoles, Nes and Super Nes (for when I want to play a little Ninja Gaiden or great RPG's).

I have the following
Atari 2600 Action Max Sega Genesis Sega Nomad Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast Nintendo Gamecube Sony Playstation 2 Microsoft Xbox I think that's it. I've thought about selling them once or twice but I never can bring myself to sell any of them. So they just sit in storage gathering dust mostly. I play my Xbox the most followed by my PS2 then my Genesis. Baldrick your just missing the Sega Nomad and the 32x and you'd have every console Sega has ever made I think...

Lasereth, Ign had a thing where you could list all your games and it'd average out the rating gave you, the overall value of the games and other stuff. Pretty cool but takes very long to get all your games in the system.
my systems: NES SNES N64 Gamecube Game Boy Game Boy Advance Sega Genesis Sega CD Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast Sega Gamegear Panasonic 3DO Sony Playstation Sony Playstation 2 Microsoft Xbox All of them except The big 4 systems are in storage. I don't know if any of the others still work.

Hah! I'm a total scrub!
PSX Dreamcast GameCube Gameboy Gameboy Advance SP All except the Gameboy were purchased by me after the age of 21. The Gameboy was given to me this past year by a friend who found it in his attic. So Buk, I feel your pain. My parents never bought me any video game systems. But I'm okay with it, really...

You people upset me a bit! There's no need to have 1000+ games! Just get really uber at one! It scares people just as much when you beat them with your feet as it does to have 1000+ collection.

I'm pretty uber at many of them. I've won several tournaments - over a dozen SF related ones, a couple VF2 tournies, Tekken, Tekken 4, Indy 500, X-Men vs SF, and X-Men COTA. Those are all the ones I can remember off the top of my head. I'm also pretty damn good at FPS games on the PC - but only on the PC as I need my keyboard+mouse combo. I like to think of myself as a collector though - supporting all the companies I truly love. These are Square/Enix, Capcom, SNK, Namco, id and anything that the AM2 team or Miyamoto releases.
Oops - forgot to add Team Andromeda and Treasure.

When I see pictures like that, I am envious, but the guy that owns all that doesn't play videogames that much at all. He simply spends every last drop of his salary after bills on collecting games. Hell, if I wanted to buy every game I wanted but knew I wouldn't play them, then there's no telling how many I'd have. A videogame collection is only as cool as how much you've played it.
