You can't play Gran Turismo on a PC
but you can play racer sim. Best part is that it's free and you can make your own cars and tracks.
I posted this in Tilted Motors forum, and I thought that I should post something here to share it with those that don't make it to that forum at all.

After seeing this thread from Hanxter....Want To Race A Mini Thru The Streets??? . I found this racer sim the other day.
RACER SIM: MINI Cooper & MINI Cooper S
Early on in production Stecki contacted us at MINI2 for some advice about a model he was making for the free racing simulator called Racer. The models were looking pretty good already, and we've done our best where we can to provide advice on specifications and how the MINI should look. Now, years on, the racer MINIs by Stecki have evolved and improved as the game itself has progessed over time. We have updated our racer section in August 2003 to bring you new MINI Cooper files, compatible with Racer 0.50.
As with most free things on the internet, the Racer sim is constantly being updated and improved, so we will not provide that for download on MINI2. Instead, please visit the official racer site (link below) to download the programme and any other add-ons you may require. The game is suitable for Windows and Linux operation systems.
So here you go, and have fun...
STEP ONE: Download the Racer game and check out the rest of the official racer site at the following URL. This is of course VERY IMPORTANT. Without the game, these cars will be useless! www.racer.nl
STEP TWO: Choose your favourite MINI (or MINI's) from the selection below to download. To download the MINI of your choice, just click on the image you like. The files are zip files, which you need to extract to the folder c:/SIMS/race/data/cars or wherever you installed the racer game. You can even modify the files and update the MINI to make it more to your liking if you're that way included. For advice on how to do this, check out the Racer Forum by clicking HERE
All these MINI's are based on original files and design by Stecki. At his site you will find an excellent Rally MINI and another street MINI to download, plus all the latest news if we are a bit slow of the mark. Check out his site here: http://stecki.racesimcentral.com/.

This really has fed my obsession for the past few weeks. There are several other car models to race if you look for them in the stecki site. I saw in one of the forums a Ford GT and some other neat models. Best part about this sim is that it's free!
