Mine has to be Bloodrayne. It's pretty mindless and repetitive, but I find it to be a great stress reliever. I'm also a sucker for scantily clad women who can rip shit up.
|
There was nothing funnier back when I lived in the dorms a few years ago to my floor mates then to walk by my room and see my big white ass churning away on the DDR mat.
Great cardio though! |
Yeah you know I wanted to try DDR and I couldn't get myself to buy the darn thing, because I know all the guys that work at the game store and I didn't want them to see me buying it. I also bought Pokemon with my GBA SP, and not a lot of people can understand that one either. I also have The Sims. I do not think I match the gender nor age stereotype I belong in :D
|
these old porn games on the c64 where you had to rubb your joystick like mad (like summer olympics) .. well was really funny and in my age this was hardcore hehehe
|
All the kirby games, and yoshi's island. God, I want to beat myself up for being a 10 year old girl....
|
pokemon
|
Animal Crossing :P
|
samba de amigo (play with the shades drawn and doors locked)
(would play in closet if there was enough room) |
"Wacky Races" for the Dreamcast. A cheap knockoff of MarioKart, with C-Level cartoon characters....still fun as hell.
|
Well here's a new one. It's not really a specific game, but more of a genre. I'm horribly embarrassed to admit that I LOVE FMV games. I don't know what it is about them, but for some reason I just really like them. I had quite a few on my old Sega CD when it was still working and I even bought a couple on PC. Am I alone in liking these kinds of games? (Pretty sure I am)

DDR
The Sims way back when Pokemon |
Yoshi's Island for the GBA, I'm addicted to getting a perfect score in that game.
|
Animal Crossing... must get last piece of harvest series...
|
commando on c64 i knew it by heart
|
Insaniquarium on www.addictinggames.com - a little flash game that may well give me carpal tunnel syndrome.
I love those little flash games! |
Without a question of doubt, my game is Outpost. PC Gamer (despite how shitty they may be) gave a 90%+ rating for the game, but then went back on what they said.
Sure, the game may have been a huge letdown... but damn I loved playing it just to micro my buildings and do research. |
Pokemon , solitaire , and minesweeper. And this thing called bubble shooter...after playing it everything appears exceedingly square-ish! Dunno how many hours I wasted during assignments to play that goddamned game
|
DDR and Pinball
|
hehe... outpost. i still have my copy. that game was awful.
back on topic, i got embarassed in college, when i tried to recreate my dorm room. i made the layout of my room, and put me an my roommate in it. in a matter of minutes the two guys climbed into bed together. i no longer put too guys in the same game. that was too creepy. |
*Sigh*
Windows Minesweeper for hours and hours straight, I learned how to get good and couldn't stop. :( My brain was in minesweeper mode for days. |
EQ and Horizons... I never say a word about them outside work/forums (everyone in the office plays both).
|
Boogerman (Genesis) - I don't care what anyone says, it's a classic in my mind and no one else's. Immature fun in an actually good game.
Awesome Possum (Genesis) - I'd rather not brag about this one, but it was fun for me as long as I had that game. |
Carmageddon and Carmageddon 2. I remember my girlfriend asking "Why are you running over the pedestrians?", and my delayed reply was "...Because I can."
Bestest. Game. Evar. |
