Does anyone remember this monstrosity?
Did any of you actually buy the damn thing?
I saw one at the Hock Shop today and couldn't help but laugh to myself at the Virtua Boy's tragic downfall.

Ha ha ha!! I remember seeing one of those in a Toys 'R' Us display. You couldn't get me to buy one of those things if you staple gunned it to my face.

I actually wrote a letter (which they misread as a compliment by their response) to Nintendo back in the day asking why they produced that piece of shit so quickly and took so long on the N64, which at the time was called the "NU64"

heheh i love that thing.. im actually bidding on one on Ebay now :)
Virtual Tennis was great!

I liked it too.. for 10 bucks its a great artifact to have, I too loved Virtual Tennis.

I've got one too... I got it at a yard sale for five bucks a couple of years ago. It's pretty entertaining, aside from the splitting headaches it causes.:D I've got a lot of respect for the guys who developed things like this at Nintendo of Japan, but I can't imagine how they could have thought a gaming console that straps to your face and only displays the colors red and black could possibly compete with the Playstation and Saturn.

i am a huge nintendo fan, i have every console ever made by them including all the game boy versions.......except virtual boy! i played it once and it was just retarded, lol it is the only thing that keeps me from saying i own all the nintendo consoles!!!!!

a good friend of mine got one.... and I spent many hours playing virtual tennis... but everything else on that system was total crap.

There's one on Ebay right now for about 81 or so....I think.

I'd like to pick up some old systems, but I'm not paying 81 for them...

virtua tennis rocked! i had a chance once to buy a system for $25 and games for $5. I severely regret it.
