has anyone played xenosaga?
 

i love xenosaga i cant wait for the second one to come out......does anyone have any info on the second one

Xenosaga, to me, was one of the best RPGs on the ps2 :) It was wonderful.

as for part 2, all I know is it will be awhile..

Xenosaga was great. Other than once or twice when I'd rather be playing instead of watching a cutscene. I can't wait to see how the story ties into Xenogears.

yea that should be cool.....yea i know what your talking about cutscenes but whats with the 80 hours game play i finished mine in 38 hours i didnt do the mini-games but they shouldnt take up to 40 hours

yeah, this is one of the _very few_ games to have apealing side games but I didn't bother with em much. been there, done that.

i beat it in 40 hours. i didn't mind the cutsceenes at all!

when I did mind cutsceenes was while playing Metal Gear Solid 2......

I'm about halfway through and I must say it has a great story. It's not that tough in terms of gameplay...but if I didn't purchase the strategy guide, I definitely would have missed A LOT! I'd say it's a good purchase if you like games with a deep and involved storyline.

Great game, but loooooooooong storyline. I could only play it on my brother's PSX during the holidays, and I couldn't even get to the second CD. It's great if you want a game that leaves you feeling thoroughly satisfied.

Edit: Oops. I was thinking of Xenogears there. Haven't played Xenosaga yet. From what my brother tells me, Xenosaga is another one of those movies that keeps getting interupted by a game.

Xenosaga was a lot of fun, but near the end the game became really easy. I had around level 42+ characters and most battles only lasted a single round.

I really miss the games where the main boss takes an enormous amount of time to beat and you are always on the verge of death, but you don't get ticked at the game cause you know you can beat him if you plan the attacks right.

I've debated picking it up. There is a really good review of it at www.deeko.com. I just don't know how I feel about all the cutscenes.

But I loved Xenogears.

I started playing it. So far, I like the game, as much as Xenogears
I'm playing FFX [getting the celestial weapons and doing all the sidequests]

It's hard playing 2 RPG's at the same time

ffx was a great game what i like the most about it was the battle set up how you can switch the ppl out of battle and put in new person. to bad you cant do that with xenosaga

I'm hooked on that goddamned card game. It's seriously eaten at least 30 hours of my life. I've been playing the casino for a good 15 hours too, enough to buy the AG-05. I have yet to use it in combat, but it looks like it can blow some shit up. Oh yeah, I really like the game. :)

I've enjoyed the game. Playing it for the second time now. There is a lot of story line so the cutscenes help develop the story. Of course, most of the story so far is development for the rest of the series I hope. I enjoyed Xenogears too, but didn't like having so much of the story all in that last third as narration.
