I've been playing the game a few days. It's a improvement from Shut Your Mouth, but it could still be better. I was upset that some of the wrestlers I was hoping to play as/against had to be made in Create-a-Wrestler. Farooq, Bradshaw, La Resistance, Gail Kim, Jamie Noble, Nadia, Basham Brothers, Billy Kidman, Rosie, Tommy dreamer, Mark Henry... You get the picture... There still aren't enough matches per week. In my season mode I have over 100 matches, while everyone besides a select few have under 20. There should be at least double the matches per week. My tag team belts never get defended, and I've only been in 1 tag match with my Partner. The Tag team situation is just as bad in game as it is in real life. I'll think of some more to comment on later.

So, Who's played it and what are your opinions?

I rented the game and loved it, but if you want to see a game with more matches per week, well look at renting RAW2 for the Xbox. Every week there is about 7 matches on the card.

The season mode on this game is amazing. I love that you can actually see someone walking to the ring with the belt on. The only problem I have with that is everyone I've seen so far wears the belt around the waist. I was hoping people like RVD carried the belt on their shoulder like in real life, or maybe the Taker would ride out with the belt attached to the front of his bike.
Beyond that match types are fun and the grappling system is good. I haven't had this much fun playing a wrestling game in a long time. SYM was decent at best IMO. Def Jam Vendetta was a great wrestling game but I is/was limited some what.

I still think the best wrestling game ever would be a mixture of the last 3 wrestling games released. It would go something like this. Take the presentation, CAW (add more features) and char models from RAW2. The season mode and match types from HCTP. Finally the wrestling engine should be from WRESTLEMANIA XIX( or Def Jam Vendetta, just lose the uber moves).
