Need For Speed Underground Demo
I just played the Need For Speed Underground demo. It was super cool . It's all about street racing and tuning your car. Looks Fast and the Furious style. The online street race is very cool you can challenge other players and race the individually or with 4 people at the same time. I can really recommend installing this demo.
Does anyone have it installed already? Maybe we can make a FTP street race competition or just race each other. |

I haven't played or d/l it yet...but could you perhaps throw me some more info? Im not really into any of the street racing tuner F&F crowd and their thing, but i do enjoy cars. The racing i can deal with, but how is the tuning part of the game? What kind of options do you get, how techincal/realistic is it, or is it just body kits and spoliers, and tires and stuff? If its mainly a bunch of cosmetic junk then i dont want to waste my time on getting or trying it. All i get from their site or othr info i've seen is that you can tune your cars...which most people changin the paint would be considered tuning...

just click on downloads and then hit the PC demo tab btw did anyone think the movie err trailer they put out for this was incredibly lame? theres a hi res link on the site there too but i also got to watch it on my ps2 copy of SSX 3 god, just show me the actual game, not people letting off the gas and then pushing it again and all of a sudden attributing that to making the car going really fast. bah. The control on the demo is WAAAAAY too twitchy. It drives me nuts. I hope the game isn't this squirrely, because it looks friggin' great.

I can only get 25.33. Oh well! Man, the graphics are amazing in the drag-race mode. I've never seen nitrous oxide displayed so stylishly!

i cant wait to play the full version, to see if you aer going to be able to tune them like in Gran Turismo series. I am hoping that there will be more cars made for the game. Wouldnt mind seeing some muscle cars in that lineup
Im playing the full version now.. it seems to rock so far.. here is a tip.. to gain some style points to get you started, go to quick race, and do the drift track several times.. i have a feeling ill be playing this alot! Last edited by Snakebyt; 11-18-2003 at 06:20 PM.. |

Ok I finally got around to playing it and it's true that if your a street racing fan you'll love it. I especially love the drag racing mode, you get to focus more on the gears than on steering the car. I also love how on this game you pretty much have to work for everything you earn it's a challenge for sure. Very kick ass.

I just picked it up for PS2 today..I haven't really sat down and started it...I just tryed a couple quick races and it seems alright.
I'm sure it will be better when I actually choose my car and start tuning it.
