I'm all over this sleaze.
Larry's come a long way since the Lounge Lizards. I dunno. I still giggle at the thinly veiled innuendo. It's made me the person I am today. Not sure if that's necessarily a good thing or not yet. Heh.

Well... Sierra also said for almost a Year that they were going to make "Space Quest 7" but it got put off.. and put off... and finnaly canceled. So I'm not holding my breath.
I used to be E-mail buddies with Al Lowe. Quite a Funny guy. I used to pester him all the time as a young, budding 16 year old.

I'm more excited for the sequel to Sam and Max hit the road.

Looks like Sierra actually listened to the fans' legit complaint about the lack of Al Lowe in this game, because now he's "in talks" with Sierra. Here's what his web site says (http://www.allowe.com/L-8news.htm )
For the thousands of you who have written and expressed support of me becoming involved with the new game, I have news: your efforts are being heard. I have been in contact with Sierra many times over the past week and, while nothing is finalized yet, today Sierra's legal department said I could release the following (grammatically challenged) message: "Currently, I am in the process of negotiations with Vivendi Universal Games and my involvement with the next installment of the Leisure Suit Larry. Once we have reached an agreement I will be able to comment more on my involvement." |

I have no idea what y'all are talking about, but it sounds like a fun series, going by your enthusiasm.
Can you give me your opinions on what Leisure Suit Larry is about and what type of game it was, please? You know, platformer, adventure, et al.

Liesure Suit Larry was/is an adventure game that came out during the "Golden Years" It came out about the same time as Space Quest, Kings Quest and Hero's Quest.
Your basic quest in every game, was to.. get laid as much as possible. I never played LSL 7.. And I don't want to get an old 95' machine to play it.. Maybe they'll package some of the older games in with this new installment, like Escape from Monkey Island did..
