Go to Sierra.com for the trailer too!
It's good to see adventure games coming back, I'm just hanging out for another Day of the Tentacle, damn that game rules! |
I used to play it when I was little but I never really got into it. I got it included in some 10 valupak I bought. Was leisure suit larry 6 or something. Maybe I'll give this one a try.
|
mmmmm..... *reminisces over shower scene in Shape Up or Slip Out*
|
Looks good. I'll buy it.
|
I'm all over this sleaze. :)
Larry's come a long way since the Lounge Lizards. I dunno. I still giggle at the thinly veiled innuendo. It's made me the person I am today. Not sure if that's necessarily a good thing or not yet. Heh. |
i remember thinking how cool the other games were, and now we are going to have a better graphics engine running this one! It's going to rule. It will do better than the remake of police quest which I also enjoyed.
|
Sweeet!
|
hurrah.
good old Larry. man, i canīt even remember the last time i played one of those Sierra adventure games. probably way back when i had that amiga 2000. |
Anyone know when it'll be out, I've heard conflicted reports "End of the Year" "Fall 2004"...
|
Well... Sierra also said for almost a Year that they were going to make "Space Quest 7" but it got put off.. and put off... and finnaly canceled. So I'm not holding my breath.
I used to be E-mail buddies with Al Lowe. Quite a Funny guy. I used to pester him all the time as a young, budding 16 year old. |
Good to see ole cheesy Larry back.
|
hahahaha thatsd funny
|
yeah bobbles, iloved leisure suit lary 7, was funny
|
I'm more excited for the sequel to Sam and Max hit the road.
|
I remember Lounge Lizards. Damn I feel old :P
This will be a good laugh, though |
Looks like Sierra actually listened to the fans' legit complaint about the lack of Al Lowe in this game, because now he's "in talks" with Sierra. Here's what his web site says (http://www.allowe.com/L-8news.htm )
For the thousands of you who have written and expressed support of me becoming involved with the new game, I have news: your efforts are being heard. I have been in contact with Sierra many times over the past week and, while nothing is finalized yet, today Sierra's legal department said I could release the following (grammatically challenged) message: "Currently, I am in the process of negotiations with Vivendi Universal Games and my involvement with the next installment of the Leisure Suit Larry. Once we have reached an agreement I will be able to comment more on my involvement." |
Meh I sort of enjoyed the first and original LSL. I've played maybe 3 or so in the series after the first one and didn't really enjoy them.
maybe if it was more explicit i would heh :) |

there was boobies in shape up and slip out and in love for sail.
you just had to know the easter eggs for most of them (gamefaqs is always there for ya.) I wonder if they will being back the "wheres dildo" minigame, that was hilarious. |

How many of us remember, "Ken Sent Me"?
|
They Finally Went And Did It.
|
Larry is such a wicked kool game, I love all the installments.
|
Looks like that will be a blast to play.
|
That is pretty tight, LSL is a classic series.

I have no idea what y'all are talking about, but it sounds like a fun series, going by your enthusiasm.
Can you give me your opinions on what Leisure Suit Larry is about and what type of game it was, please? You know, platformer, adventure, et al. |
Liesure Suit Larry was/is an adventure game that came out during the "Golden Years" It came out about the same time as Space Quest, Kings Quest and Hero's Quest.
Your basic quest in every game, was to.. get laid as much as possible. I never played LSL 7.. And I don't want to get an old 95' machine to play it.. Maybe they'll package some of the older games in with this new installment, like Escape from Monkey Island did.. |
