About 35 hours straight playing EverQuest when Planes of Power came out. I got two characters from 60-65 in two weeks when that expansion hit.
Close friend of mine EQ'd for about 70-75 hours straight, then slept the following two next days. Was a great time. |

I'm saddend that I've only seen one other mention of Goldeneye. During highschool, weekends would consist of (assuming we didn't have a production to put on) VG sleep overs, where we stock on Dew,Pepsi,Coke, zebra cakes, chips, and any other snack food, and Papa Johns pizza. And then, Goldeneye for probably 10-12 hours at least I think. God, I love and miss that game. Archives, Remote Mines ONLY!!!, No Odd Job, One Hit kills....the memories.

Not exactly sure how long it was, had to be around 18 hours of cool boarders three when I was just starting my speed habit.
I've spent alot more hours on the old sega cd rpgs, but I'd usually take breaks for sleep and wander around the outdoors aimlessly. |

My job is to sit in a box with computer racks all around me and just 'monitor' the network for 12 hours a day. While 'monitoring' I play ps2 the entire time. I've done this almost every day for the past 8 months or so, add that up and thats almost 2880 hours! beat that!

Oh man....
Friends and I would just stay in my basement all the live long day, all through the night. I dont know hrs but 8 hours was usual... between food and short bouts of sleep. We had LAN parties like every weekend. But the biggest stretches had to be with FF7 or X, Probably between 12 and 14 hours just at the foot of my bed w/ my GF, playing. Have around 160 hours into FF7, closing in on 300 for X! |

Way to long. I am not a big gamer but when I was a kid, I spent the night at a buddy's house and we spent all of friday afternoon until Saterday afternoon playing Nintendo. "Link" I think it was... anyway. When I finally went to bed, I couldn't sleep because there were little video game men burned into my brian. I would see them hopping around and stuff everytime I closed my eyes... as an adult, I have been up til about 4am playing a few times I think.

My old roommate and I spent about 18 hours straight playing Fallout 2 "tag-team" style over a weekend. One person would eat/go to bathroom/nap while the other would play, and when the switch happened we would fill each other in on anything we missed or whatever needed to be done.
Nowadays I feel lucky if I can put in just a couple hours a week... |

MMORPGs are the ultimate in making you stay up forever. When I played Asheron's Ccall I'd usually get home from school, make myself do homework, then play until 3 or 4 AM (waking up at 7 for school). At one point it was revealed that a rare drop item would be removed in 24 hours... so nerds that we were, my friend and I spent 24 hours in his basement camping spawns to stockpile as much as we could. I dozed off a few times, hehe. Memories...

I pull at least 2-3 all-nighters a month and have been for five or so years now
But the 2 most memorable...... When that dirt rat fuck Sephiroth killed my gal in Final Fantasy VII even though I had been playing for 7 hours that night, I vowed I wouldn't sleep till he slept with the fishes. 23 hours later I had missed work, pissed my roomie off to no end, and broke 1 dish (when I jumped up at one point I sat on it) but he was dead. Great Vindication I must admit. I spent 23 hours playing Vice City doing nothing but Ambulance and Firetruck missions Damn I need help.........

I had a two-day rental for Chrono Trigger on the SNES when it came out and it logged 38 hours before returning it. I had beaten it 5 different ways. I forgot to eat all of Saterday. I think about 22 hours of that was straight through, I crashed out at around 7:00 AM and got up at about 11:00 and kept playing.

I used to play Legacy of the Wizard with my father about 10 years ago, we tried everything to get through that game and we couldn't figure out what to do next for the life of us. We're both stubborn and don't go to others for help on games. I think the hardest game that we actually beat together was Bard's Tale 3... we spent months on that game. And, I still remember to this day, how surprised we were how easy it was to kill Tarjan when we finally found him by having someone sneak in the shadows behind him and then go for the fatal blow! |

Right when the MoH AA multiplayer demo came out for PC I would pull allnighters a few times a week. Around hour 10 my eyes would start twitching pretty bad though. Next addiction I'll be pulling all nighters for will probably be Dragon Empires. Any of y'all been following that game?

Back in HS on a Friday evening about 6P.M. I sat down at the computer to log into Everquest (back when there was only one expansion) with the exception of bathroom breaks and kitchen runs I did not leave the computer till 2P.M. on Sunday and did not even know Saturday had passed. On Monday i cancelled my account. Only to reopen it 3 times later. Damn addicting game and damn friends who kept playing it.

We used to pull all nighters playing LAN games. We had our LAN set up in the basement of a friends house, and his dad would come down to go to work and we would still be in there playing.
