I used to stay up all night playing counterstrike!

ALL NIGHT! my knees would hurt because id sit on them on my chair for hours and hours and stop for nothing but food and bathroom! :P

I played Subspace probably about 80-100hours a week every week for a few months

Damn, I thought I was pretty into my gaming, but I'm a wuss compared to most of you guys. I reckon the longest I've played was the first time I played Carmageddon- which must have been about eight hours straight. Though I might have played Diablo II for about ten hours one stinking hot summer day, just because I had nothing better to do.

Carmageddon is a sick game to play that long. My poor roommate back when I was a freshman had issues with that game. He said it gave him nightmares.

I'd say StarCraft cost me many, many hours of much needed sleep :D

not til a lil after diabloii came out.... my friends were asians and taught me how to kickass... so i stayed over for 2 1/2 days and played straight.... i left when someone hit a power box and cut the powre from the neighborhood... then i went to mcdonalds got some good fries.... skated for about 2 hours... then went back home to the energy back up... and played on my crapier computer..... wow....but that break stops the time i guess.

I've pulled a couple of all-nighters.

used to play Gauntlet for NES all night long and a few times my friends and I used to have lan parties that ran for 3 straight days. The only time that was not spend on gaming was for 4 hours a sleep a day.

I would say at least a few all-nighters due to Ultima Online Beta. Damn them.

i feel as though my geekhood is insufficient, i've only played for at most 8 hours straight.

I have spent an entire weekend form the time I got off work on friday till I should ahve gone to work on monday (called in sick). I must have taken naps when the maps and such loaded but that is about it. of course it was at a lan party wehre it is eaiser to stay awake.

Put me down for 38 hours. Good night.

Jesus, how do you guys do it? I only play an hour at a time these days (at the most). But like I said before I pulled a whole day and nighter on Final Fantasy VIII.

ive stayed up for 60 hours strait playing EQ. Dam game. That was when kunark just came out and we cleared pog a multiple times and i got my beserker BP )

just spent 8 hours last night playing Civ3, was up till 6am

longest ever was around 40 hours at a Lan Party hyped up on a mix of Red Bull and Pure Orange Juice (good for when ur hiking, bad when ur sat in front of a PC)

I played Diablo II when I got it last October for like a weekend.
I still play all nighters on it, but.. a weekend.

CivIII is cool game but I wish I had the online version. It would be so much cooler.

8 in the morning to 8 in the next morning playing Spearhead

Waaay back in the spring of 92, during spring vacation, my buddy and I locked ourselves in the computer lab @ college and played X-wing for 3 days straight.

We would take turns getting food/sleeping/peeing, etc.

Damn we were nuts.

I went through a FF stage and I played FFVII practically all day every day until I got to the end of the game where there weren't any save point, and once I got to that point I played it for over 24 hours straight till I beat it. I immediatley passed out after that though...:lol:

I also played FFVIII even MORE religiously than I did VII. It took much longer to beat though. But I remember playing it for a little under 24 hours one day. I still play it every once in a while, because theres so many things that you can miss on those games.

Heheheheh... well, I can't get close to beating any of you in your times... but I will tell you, back in the day, from the end of June to the beginning of September, there would be about 12 hours of computer gaming A DAY. I wouldn't go to people's houses, so if they wanted to visit they would have to come over and watch. I never ate supper once in the summer that year... man, Civ II, Diablo I, etc... If you multiply the 70 days I spent about on average 10 hours playing... that's 700 hours in 3 months (20 days of doing things not involving computer gaming, like... BUYING computer games!) Anyway, nowadays, I still play turn-based strategy but not as often, and most recent games I've bought (Call of Duty, Max Payne 2, Prince of Persia) I've all beaten in one or two sittings. Quite disappointing, when you WANT to have a marathon gaming session but the game just isn't long enough to even last ya the afternoon. :( Anyways, to all those who've demolished my record of 18 hours, congradulations! I'll see what I can do to beat the all-time record, which seems to be... 2 weeks. Crap!

I would spend all day playing starcraft broodwar... ah the days...

Worst I've done was from Friday after work (6pm), untill about 3am sunday night/monday morning, with 30 minute cat naps on the couch about every 12 hours or so.

Damn that EQ addiction. I notice I'm not the only one here that had one. :)

Hmm... I don't know definite times, but I'd say easily 10 hours of playing... many, many times I've noticed the sun coming up, with me thinking it was still 11ish... Starcraft, Diablo, D2, and Counterstrike... damn you all!

weeks at a time i used to play diablo 2 almost 24 7. i got fired from my job, lost my gf, didnt talk to my family, never seen most of my friends, lived in my freinds beroom, and ate 1000's of stacker 2s (it was when they 1st came out). but at 1 time i would have to say it was at least 4 or 5 days playing d2. people used to msg me (my name was ed_templton) and ask me if i ever slept. i thought many of times i was having a heart attack from the stacker 2. man i hated that game (when i say hated i mean loved).

o and i forgot about the times the ladder reseted, those were the longest streaks EVER!

recently played Minesweeper for 10 hours.(jk)
i did play kellyslaters pro surfer for a long time... about 12hours. such a good game... but now my arms are dead.

For me, probably the most is about 7 hours. That was quite a few years ago.

Nowadays, I just don't have much time to spend on playing games. Not to mention that there also aren't that many good titles out right now. So my interest has lowered.

When a good game does come out, I do try to make sure that I spend time playing it and finishing it as well. Just not all in one sitting tough :D

I was addicted to playing Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot. I ranged anywhere from 12 to 20 hours plus.

Last night I started playing EQ at 4pm and didn't get off untill 630am. Those LDoN adventures are addicting. Hehe i'm writing this while my cleric is in trader mode in the bazaar.

I've play BF1942 DC for a good 9 hours.

I've been to several 72 and 48 hour LANs where I've stayed up the whole stretch, and I've sat down and played several games from start to finish out of the box. Not so much anymore though. Damn school occupies too much time these days...

right now playing bf1942, played sunday morning till monday morning, then slept 2 hours ,didnt go to my 2nd job stayed home and played till tuesday morning lol, bf1942 is the bomb!

several all-nighters with FF II on SNES. But, nothing can top the first two days after I discovered the pure gaming joy of The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.

All day and nighter (1 1/2 days) playing The Legend of Zelda for NES. Man, those were the good old days. Stay up all night on the weekends playing video games. Wish I were a kid again

I've played EQ from 7pm (friday) to 1am (monday). Had to take the usual get chips/soday and pee breaks but other then that all you could see is a blue light flashing from my room. EQ was the bomb back in the day....
