Glad you are ok rockzilla! And be careful with that codeine. I had my ACL reconstructed a while back and although the codeine was wonderful for pain management I just had absolutely no energy to do anything. Couldn't figure out why until I switched from Tylenol-3 (with Codeine) to just regular Tylenol. Suddenly I had energy again and could actually get up and move around (although with a little pain).

Sorry for the delay, but I was waiting for all of you
to make your decisions of what you were going to do. If there is a lull in the future, kind of everone waiting for everyone else, then I'm going to start PMing you all to figure out if you're waiting. It kind of awkward for me to tell when you are set. OK, now Ready for more adventure. |

Cubby here everyone. I'll try to keep up with play as much as possible but I just got laid off from work yesterday so I don't have the 8 hours of day on the computer like I used to. I should be able to update most days at least once (and I'll log into this account as Cubby instead of Jinger).
Who knows, mabye this means I'll be on here longer than I used to but right now I need to work on my resume, etc. |

OK, I'm not going to allow the use of "Phantom Footmen"
to probe areas before hand. This will upset the challenge & balance of the game, by allowing the characters to get away with letting something else do the job. Figure out other ways to check for traps, and searching rooms. Thieving skills, definitely. Scrying, maybe. Telekinesis, maybe. Phantom Footmen, no. The only thing I might allow Phantom Footmen to do is carry items, and open unlocked doors. |

(Cubby here...too lazy to logout, delete cookie and log back in)Hmm...I handn't even heard of Phantom Footmen..been out of D&D for too long I guess. We'll just do this the old fashioned way.
Thanks for the offer on the resume Rogue. I may take you up on that but first I have a resume/job search clinic my old company is putting on and I have a friend of mine (that also got laid off) who has offered to help. I'll keep you guys up to date (I'll be posting a thread in General Discussion or Member playground sometime soon to see if anyone in the area knows of jobs). Back to the game!!! |

Hi all....been a little negligent lately with the game. Bad me!
Sorry to hear about your job Cubby, perhaps it's just an opening to a new and better opportunity. As far as the game goes...have we managed to lose Gell somehow?

I'm around.Currently on vacation with a friend.Next week around Wednesday we will be leaving to head to the beach. 3-4 days without internet access.
If at any time it becomes too much trouble to worry about Attrah, you can kill him off. Preferably a knight's death in battle. But ill be on and around until Wednesday. --- Sorry for lagging behind. |

Well, it seems some of our players have lives outside of the game.
Seriously, I'm sad to say that three of our players will be going, at least for a significant amount of time. forgotten_dream/Gell Apokx/Attrah Bob Biter/Vinoh I hope they can join us at a later time again when can they invest the effort again. I have liked the creativity of all of them. They made their characters come to life, and that is the essense of role-playing. Thanks again for joining us. Hello everyone!
Well, Japan beckons and so do the countless preparations! I just wanted to say that it's been a fun ride so far, but don't worry... I'll be back! There's no way I can just forget about this great adventure. Therefore, as soon as I get my bearings in the land of the rising sun, Vinoh Madren will once again put his mind to the cause! I have just posted my last participation to our quest, but I'll be around the boards very sporadically until I leave next week. Take care and give'm heaven! Bob

Best of luck in Japan, Bob.
Sorry for being away, my ISP has been kinda fussy for the past few days. Whatever was wrong seems to be fixed though, I've been online for longer than 10 minutes straight without being disconnected, which is more than I've been able to do recently. I made up an excuse in the game. Barring any more shenanigans from the ISP, I'll be around. |

Worked it out with Rogue, and after some debate I have decided to continue playing Attrah. Some things will be changed, but all for the better. ( Mostly more interaction, and descriptions of what Attrah is feeling/thinking ).

Hey there, I'm a relatively new user of this board and would love to get involved in the adventure. I've read through some, but not all of the story thus far, and it's been going for quite awhile.
I don't really want to enter a game that's been going for so long. Will you be doing another in the future? Is it too late to realistically join in? |

As krazixs says Looften...PM Rogue..you may be able to enter this particular game or perhaps you could start a post looking for more people to play (and someone to DM/GM) another game.

I think you'd still be welcome Looften. We've lost a few key players just recently (some short term, some longer) and new blood never hurt anyone I don't believe!
If not this game, we'll look forward to playing with you in the next!
