Unfortunate things happen sometimes.
This time it looks like Darkblack got into way too many personal arguements in Politics.
And so having to enforce the rules on TFP...he was banned by the admins.

Considering the reply he gave back to the mods, I'm not surprised.
And so...I took to "opportunity" to add some "color & edge" to the story.

Hopefully, this will be only death in our campaign.
But there are never ANY guarantees.

Welcome back, and have at it...the play is yours.

ok 2 things i think are confusing

1) is the switch on the same side as the room as us or on the other side of the wall?

2) is the katana darksplacks?? Couse i dont think it is, however one of our party just picked it up of the ground when i think it supposed to be on the ceiling. i thought it was belonging to some one/thing that is near the ceiling, or maybee even an old sword from some one/thing that was cought by the trap in the past?

LOL please update this for us LOL

To clear things up for you, since I didn't get a chance to update today.

The switch is on the same side as you, near the trap.
Yes, the sword is Sparrow's...as well as the hand

It seems as if the trap, was the floor was actually a large block,
and it slammed up...crushing anyone that was on it against the ceiling.

That is why the hand is up near the ceiling...wedged inbetween the stone,
and the sword is hanging from that hands fingers...not on the floor.

That was a mistake (but this sometimes happens in the moment of posting...I'm guilty of it too)

BTW...I'm sure the party is a bit surprised to see you Sexodus
considering...
1. They don't know you
2. They just have been shocked to their core by a companion's sudden death
3. They are shocked because it was just as close a call for them
4. You are acting VERY friendly and cheerful for such a grim situation.

But that might be just your character.

You all know the current scene and surroundings.
There's a lot that's happened and is still happening just in this area.

But you all still have some things to play out and discuss.
Having your characters deal with what's happening, and changes.
And then making some decisions.

I can't really make any real updates until this all plays out.
So have fun role-playing, interacting with each other,
and figure out what you want to do, and where to go.

This is where you really get to draw some color out of your characters.
Enjoy.

BTW, I'll be watching

A clarification of what's nearby and what's going on most recently.

Hopefully, this will prevent some of the confusion that has been going on,
I don't mind a bit of confusion...it's all a part of the "fog of war"
But I don't want it taking away from the story,
and we did have a significant break while I was on vacation.

Figure out where the hell you are, and what the hell you want

My old RPG characters have had some fun with it.. we had to anchor one guy to a concrete block cause he drank some of their bubbly.. hehe.. started to float away.. lol!

Yeah, my fav is their "mixed nuts", which instills random insanities to the one who eats them. My character also tried "duck", which made him a coward with a +3 dodge bonus!

Thanks Minx.. your avatar is pretty dark and mysterious.. very cool. My mum always said that I have cheshire in me.. says that's how she can tell when I'm up to something.. have this huge grin on my face.. hehe

Was my intention all along.. was just trying to think of a good time. The implications will come from that he's in a totally different body to what he's used to. Plus he's bigger... and can breathe fire.. so beware if he yawns.. lol.. have to learn to control that one

And since he is a being of magic.. he'll have to look out for anti-magic clouds and stuff like that.. Plus other things that will reveal themselves later in the game

20ft tall, 50 ft long and 80 ft wingspan.. still 'young'

The sources of my dragon knowledge says that they can naturally alter their size.. but changing into something like an animal or person is alot harder (have to roll percentile in the game).. hehe.. Will see what goes on

I agree with you Golden....but in that it is the weekend (and some of us don't access the 'net over that period) maybe we should wait until Monday.
I know you are ahead of us, ohhhh only about 14 hours or so

, but if nothing happens soon on Monday then we can get the proverbial ball rolling!

Surely a dragon and an elf can mix up some sort of trouble!

Um.. what do you mean by 'Cot' Rogue... cause that's what I know better as a babies bed over here.. hehe.. I've only known them as a stretcher.. if you're refering to something like a camping bed.. ahh wells.. hehe..

You have it right ourboros. a cot is a (usually) stretched canvas mattress supported by thin wooden stokes in an "X" frame at its length extremeties, and two horizontal beams connected to each.

It is a bed, but suited to a humanoid, and easily portable within a short distance.
