Yeah mate, cheer up, get well soon and be safe.
Ok all, just wondering what we do during the days that we're not TFP'ing or RPG'ing.. Do we work or do other extra curricular activities? I'm a meat processor, bit of a brain numbing job, but it's work and it pays well ![]()

Normally I work in the kitchen of a homeless shelter, but I'm on the injured list right now with a hernia, my surgery is about a month from now and not being able to work or move around is rapidly driving me crazy, good thing I found TFP.

I work in the computer programming (consulting) industry so I'm on the computer all the time. When I'm at home, or on weekends I spend time with my wife and son which is why I often don't respond on the weekends. I ususally check from work but if there is a busy work day then sometimes I can't check then either.
I would love to have the time to play a few more video games at home but just don't have the time.

There is something other than TFP?
![]() No, seriously...yup - gotta day job! Technically speaking I'm an exec secretary lol...ya - believe it or not! All it means really is that I do all the paperwork end of running a company and I have 16 guys (on any given day) crying in my office! I'm just lucky enough that I work in such a casual office and I have complete freedom with what I do I have no-one looking over my shoulder ever so I am free to do what I will. So, as far as the game (and for that matter TFP in general) goes I am pretty much logged on all the time I'm at work (I blip back and forth between fun & work) and after that I usually log on late in the evenings after my kids are settled in for the night. Try to do stuff on the weekends but as a single Mum life is kinda busy for me! ![]()

no problem,
you can go where you want. and there are results to whereever you go. I just need to be able to respond, unfortunately my connection was down, and work is not the right place to be able to focus on this. Fortunately my connection is up again, and hopefully will stay up. This is the second disruption in the past two days. There are a more of you now, and I just want to be able to work with you. Thank you for your patience. |

No worries GoldenOuroboros, I'm less likely to check on weekends as well (especially this weekend as it is my son's birthday and then father's day). That doesn't mean I don't check but often I just can't find the time to...

Ok, it's all up to the party to keep itself together.
Three haven't finish claiming their gifts. It's up to you, whether you get to them before everyone moves on. You don't need any more prompting from me You are at the Tomb now, and there are a few ways to approach it. You can split up, or stay together, or stay by yourself while everyone moves on. This is a part of keeping track of everyone. There are consequences to everything...good & bad. I will be describing the scenes with whomever's there. Describing something else, for other players. If you are gone and another player decides to move on, then so be it. One may be behind with consequences, another may move too far ahead with consequences, or not...depends on where you are. It's up to you to pace each other. I will be trying to update at least once a day, but at the same time I won't be doing it until you decide to do something. We gotten to the part of the adventure where you are in control of your destinies & lives. Good luck & have fun. |

That's too bad Fallon....maybe we shall see you again in here though.
For the others...if anyone is listening out there..in mho I think the group should stay together....it seems (I'm just guessing here) Rogue would prefer us to split, though, perhaps for the overall storyline. What does anyone think? Hello? (echo echo echo) lol ![]()

i can understand rogues reasoning having such a large group although i have to say it's a bit hard to say how many are still here and those that have dropped out

No, I don't WANT you to split.
It would be actually easier for me, if you stay together. I was just saying that if someone is left behind, or decides to go it on their own ahead or differently, then I will deal with it. And BTW, it is VERY dangerous to have your telepaths communicating over distances, you already saw what happened to Vinoh before at the village when the Dark was aware. (for those who are not aware, I would suggest reading up This is your advantage, knowing the past, when you weren't present. I suggest you use it. For play aspects, I'm assuming that character have told each other about this) It is YOUR decision whether you want to split your party or not; the strategy is up to you. |

Minx et al. I don't really don't know how to approach this tomb but I think we all want to get moving, sooo... I've started a quick survey in the game itself and if people can vote real quick we can decide one way or another without more debate on what is the best way...just vote for what you want and let's get moving!

Personally I am ready to NOT find an entrance at the top in order to keep the group together. And, if that is easier on Rogue I think that's what we should do. There's no reason we can't split up (hit a fork in a tunnel or whatnot) in a little bit if that seems to be the way the story will work best.
If we don't hear from Rogue by day's end (in the story) then I may just throw this in (and hope I don't get in sh**) ![]()

I still can't understand what made your characters think that it was you lot that brought the temple down.. but not the ray of light that hit the dark magic and ceased it's levitation.. that's all I'm thinking.. In all reality I think we should stay together.. cause I've seen some pretty hefty demons in my books and if rogue decides to use some of them.. we're toast. And telepathy across along distance can be read as well (thanks rogue for reminding us
![]() Minx you think of goin anywhere I'll bamf over to where you are and.. and.. um.. *ponders* I'll get back to you on this ![]() If I die I'll just bring in a new character.. even more munchkin like than before.. hehhe.. er.. not that my 3/4 dragon 1/4 human is munchkin or anything... hehe ![]()

If it helps you then I say fine.
However since this is an pretty open-ended campaign with quite a bit of emphasis on character interaction & development, and some of the players have not played D&D or other RPG's, then you might not want to "define" your characters so literally. There are advantages & disadvantages to everything, the decision is up to you. But, it is a good resource to get ideas from any way you use it. Thanks. |

Speaking as a RPG rookie I can say that I think such detailed breakdown of character is helpful but I can't help but like the fact that this game, so far, has carried itself by the interaction between the characters without having to have pages of reference. I like the fact that details of history and character bio is realized as the game goes on.
It's like real life....you don't meet someone and are handed a biography...you learn as you go, as you talk, as you observe. Just me...but I like it the way it is so far! ![]()

That's the thing that turned me off pen and paper games. All the statistics and rolling for saving throws and so on and so on. I'm more interested in playing a character and having adventures. If I wanted to dig through a pile of numbers I'd do my taxes.
