Taking a quick run through the computer store while on my break from work, i saw that there was a BalckHawk Down computergame.
Now- i loved the movie. Loved the book... but want more information about the game before i impulse-buy.

Does anyone know anything about it?

Heard anything good or bad?

Is it simply another First Person Shooter?

Reviews were bad, and there is a free demo on the net, so go check that out first. I thought the enemy AI was pretty laughable, but graphics were pretty cool. Beyond setting, has little to do with movie or book, which I both loved as well.

Yeah, i'd never heard of it, so it looks kinda questionable.

No good, every mission is the same and the graphics go from shite to hype. Horrible gameplay, crap hud, and pointless, utterly pointless.

Once thing I though was VERY good in it though was the vehicle explosions, amazing lookin'.

get vietcong much better.

multiplayer and large terrian has is what made the early installments of delta force enjoyable but Black Hawk down is just poop. Just no fun. Multiplayer is ok but not as good as the land warrior.
