Trying to get back into gaming....
 

I've been so far out of the console thing, that I've gone on a bit of a binge in getting some games.

I just ordered MGS2 and FFVII from EBgames. I can't wait. Ordered NBA Street, GTA3, Ace Combat 4, Madden 04, NCAA 03, Tony 3, Medal of Honor earlier.

Anyone else in the same boat as me? I just got a PS2 and a GBA, and I'm in gaming glory right now. I'm trying to catch up on everything I've missed over the past few years. I don't know what happened, I just lost interest...

WarioWare and Advance Wars are ruling the GBA, and I'm trying to get my PS2 collection up to snuff. Anything out there that I *need* to get??

Basically looking for GBA and PS2/PS games. Also have a Dreamcast that's collecting dust...

Um, I basically go back to old games these days, that I never played.

I got the Arc the Lad Collection off EBay, and FFVI for SNES and I can say I'm loving those games.

Gran Turismo 3 is a great game in you're into race games. Note that this isn't an arcade type of racing, but a very realistic racing simulation game.

PS2 = SOCOM, Navy Seals.

Red Faction II is one the the sweetest FPS on the PS2, IMHO. Great story line, good guns, nice graphics.

ico, fuilty gear XX and gitarooman are pretty cool games.

i dont like the ps2, but im thinking of buying a used one for certain games as well..
there are a buttload of GREAT games for the gba though.

The PS2 doesn't appeal to me anymore, I bought a few games recently that I sold after a week of buying them, I just can't get into them. I'm thinking about Ratchet and Clank (since it's Platinum now) which should be cool, love the childish games, they're so much fun.

But hands down on the PS2 I haven't played a better game than Silent Hill 3, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter was a blast too, heaps of fast-paced action, plus it got me through a tough time in my life, was a sort of cathartic release.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night for PS1 is a must have (although it might be hard to find)

I'd reccomend Final Fantasy 10 over 7, as 7 although great, looks pretty dated (the CG especially) But which FF game is best is ridiculously debatable. If you like 7, try 8.

Chrono Cross, Xenogears and Final Fantasy Tactics are must haves for RPGs.

And the Silent Hill series is great.

And I have been playing a lot of Virtua Fighter Evolution lately.

well VERY realistic, you can crash with 250 km/h into a wall and you bounce bag and nothing happens to the car ;)
