Vice City Wheelie

Alright, I might just be stupid, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to pull a wheelie on a bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Heh... just hold down to lean back. Start off going slow, then lean back and hit the gas, and your front wheel will go up. Be sure not to lean back too far though, because you will fall over and take damage. It's kind of hard to do wheelies on PCJ's, and it's really hard to do them on the big harley-type bikes, but Sanchez's are really good for wheelies.

Sanchez is also my favorite vehicle in that game, aside from the apache helicopters. :)

i prefer to go the wheelie on the PCJs., since i find the sanchez a little too out of control.
just hold back gently, and watch out for leaning back too far.

i find its best to line yourself up on a runway in the airport... then grab a side-view to watch your own magnificence.

as cyco said, donīt bother with the harleys.

what i find difficult are the stoppies.

bah, stoppies are childs play. The real question is...... can you do a wheelie, then go DIRECTLY into a stoppie? and back again?

In case you couldn't guess, I have played this game waaaaaaay too much. Still one of the best games ever made.

PCJs are for girly men, clearly the Pizza Boy is the greatest hog in VC. =)

But seriously, GTA was the game that got me hooked on the Playstation and made me question my Nintendo loyalty which dated back to 1989. Instant classic.

eh, my copy is PC.... ;)

so how do you do a stoppie? Lean forward?

Mr. Spacemonkey 08-23-2003 11:16 AM

To do a stoppie, get going really fast and then hit the brakes while leaning forward.
