Suddenly, Vinoh's grove is disturbed. A crackling cloud hovers over it, then zooms towards the little dragon, making it convulse and drop to the ground.

Perturbed by this, the mind mage slips out of his meditation, which was very much needed, gets his bearings and heads towards his fallen friend. As he approaches, he notices that the Pixie is already trying to revive him.

"You're such a helper, little one! I'm happy to see that such a long time in the dark has not blighted your heart!"

Vinoh then places his hands on Darghon's head. His powers fully restored, he is now able to conduct a psychic diagnosis, looking for any signs of trauma.

D'Aleen turns from her task of searching the room to see Darghon slump to the floor, turning from his dragon form back to human form. Worried what could have struck him down without any of them seeing anything, she hurries over to him.

Watching Vinoh perform his ministrations, she prays they would not lose another of their friends so quickly. Kneeling down beside the mage she asks in a hushed tone...

"Can you help him Vinoh? Do you know what happened?"

"Did annyone see anything? Is Darghon OK, did someone/thing do that to him..."

*Sexodus starts to check each door Carfully making sure to listen beound each one... checking for weakness on each door, Checking and feeling the walls...
Preparing himself for the unkown!

Wandering over to make sure Darghon still had a pulse,the dark knight began to think about what had just taken place.

His diagnosis completed, Vinoh turned to those gathered around his fallen friend.

"I sense nothing physically wrong with Darghon, other than the change he just underwent. In fact, in this case, not only is everything normal, but the sudden transformation seemed to have done him some good, as if he needed this to happen to relieve some sort of stress.

I will stay with him until he awakens. You should all make sure the entry points are secured, then get some rest or eat something. If what awaited myself and Kentelos beyond the left door is of any indication, we're gonna need all the strength we can muster!"

::The pixie nods in affirmation to Vinoh as though she knew the same all along. She then crawls up Sexodus' leg, sits on his shoulder, and holds onto his ear, and begins to sing a peaceful song in emulation of a trickling stream.::

While shoring up the second door, D'Aleen approaches to assist. Telling him briefly of what was found, Thantos is amazed.

"Pixies? I never thought that Pixie's existed. And have never heard that other word you mentioned D'Aleen. What was it..ah..Fey? Ah no matter, here help me lift this broken table over to the door."

As they get the table to the door, brace it and start back for more materials, D'Aleen suddenly tenses, touches Thantos' arm for him to turn and moves off towards Darghon.

Thantos, seeing his fallen friend moves from his task to see what he may be able to do to help. Upon arriving, he looks in curiosity at the small Pixie for a moment before focusing back on Darghon. Upon hearing Vinoh's explanation, Thantos is able to relax a little. Stroking the hair of the kneeling D'Aleen he says.

"Thank the lord he is ok and that it wasn't another attack we cannot see. I shall finish barring this last door and then take watch while you all sleep for a bit. "

Giving D'Aleen a squeeze on the shoulder, Thantos glances once more at the Pixie and moves off to work on the bracing the final door.

D'Aleen lets out a small sigh upon hearing that Darghon is apparently going to be fine.

Enjoying Thantos' touch upon her, brief as it is, she smiles and her eyes follow him as he finishes barring the last door.

"Vinoh is correct - we probably should rest a little and take this opportunity to gather our strength. I don't think I shall be able to sleep well though, considering the last time we did we lost the Father, so I shall stay up with Thantos. Perhaps a little more exploration of this room will turn up some information or clues that will help us."

Sitting by his friend Darghon, Vinoh suddenly remembers a request made by Krazixs a little while ago. Closing his eyes, he concentrates and opens his mind.

*Telepathic message to Krazixs*

"My friend, when you asked for my help before, I was unable to give it due to my weakened state. However, I am now fully restored. You seemed troubled by something, Krazixs. Let me help you, but first, let's go to where I could be of most use to you."

Vinoh's aura extends to include Krazixs' in his. Then slowly, they both travel mentally to Vinoh's grove. This is the first time Vinoh ever brought anyone else to this place and he feels somewhat nervous, but there is a greater purpose at work.

In the grove, they both appear as they did in real life, except that Krazixs seems to be sleeping on the dewy grass, surrounded by globes of different sizes suspended in mid-air. Some globes shine brightly, other faintly, while a great many are tarnished by some sort of ectoplasmic grime.

Astounded by all of this, the mind mage circles Krazixs slowly, trying to make sense of all of this.

He feels doubt in the elf's mind. Still sleeping, the mage's thoughts escape hin head in the form of question marks, which float slowly towards several of the grime-covered spheres. Suddenly, Vinoh understands. Krazixs wants to know himself. He wants to unlock his blocked memories, in order to better understand what he is and to help his friends.

Looking at Krazixs' fitful sleep, Vinoh tries to convey feelings of sympathy, not desiring to break the sacred silence of the place by using speech, mental or otherwise. He walks slowly to one of the darkened spheres, brushes the sleeve of his robe on it. The grime feels tough, as if a very old shell surrounded the hidden knowledge beneath. Stepping back, Vinoh wonders how he could pierce such a barrier without harming the knowledge or memory within, which could seriously harm his elven friend on a mental level, or at least push the knowledge even further back.

Darghons body rests.. but his mind wanders.. "What where am I..?" Surrounded by darkness yet light as well he tries to see himself yet cannot.. a booming voice comes from behind him.. "Son.. It is time" recognising the voice he starts to fear.. starts to feel afraid.. the darkness encroches on him.. "Do not be afraid son... feel yourself.. look deep into your heart and see what you truely are.. break free of the bonds that they did bind you with.."

He stops fearing.. feeling safe again the dark dissapates the light returns.. the light and the dark, in unison with one another. He searches himself.. deep down into his mind body and heart he knows what he is.. he is alike his father.. more his father than his mother.. This is the truth.

The light and the dark start to swirl around his conciousness.. the light forming lines.. the dark forming depth.. He turns.. and sees his father. "Thankyou..."

His father nodded "You are now truely my son.." He nodded and vanished..

"No wait" his conciousness yelled.. "How do I leave this place?". In a booming voice.. "You will it... awaken.. enter your body.." Darghon closed his metaphysical eyes.. feeling the line from his body.. willing himself back... Following himself back he entered his cage once again.. only this time to be free!

Darghon awoken with a start.. the energy that had been building up in his body had now been awakened.. things started moving within him.. he started glowing.. the pain, the agony. He could feel his skin peeling, which ofcourse it was.. it was giving way to his new being.. his true self.. he new the truth now and was goin to embrace it..

His aura was glowing and absorbing more energy from around his being, he changed into his were form.. yet further.. he screamed in agony and pain.. light and dark were emitted from his body.. his body became longer.. scales rose to the surface of his skin. Everything burned. Bones shifted, new ones grew, organs that weren't needed were replaced by new ones. His head grew longer. His jaw wider, teeth arose from his gums.. He screamed.. no roared out into the room. His wings grew more. His arms became legs and his hands grew wider. Talons grew out of his fingers, long claws.. His tail lengthened, pincers grew on the end.. This was the truth.. Darghon was one of the last in the line of the golden dragons.. a golden great horned dragon. He was his fathers son.. he now belong.

And with that.. it was all over.. Darghon fell to the ground with an almighty thump.. the now dragon lying on the ground.. unconcious.. his new form bioregenerating the last few bits that were needed. Repairing the tears in his flesh.. His new dragonish reptillian eyes opening wide.. then closing to rest.

::The pixie jumps from Sexodos' shoulder in wild dimay and wide eyed amazement. She runs several hundred steps around the entire body of the dragon-kind and finally stares wide eyed into the huffing snout of the newly awakened prisoner of life, and turns to the majority of the party::

"I do not think he will fit in my box."

Falling back a step as Darghon's body went through the change,Attrah had not fully expected this.
The knight continued to move backward to allow Darghon room to breathe.
The knight drew in breath as if to say something...then stopped,his mouth closed.

Reaching under her cloak for provisions D'Aleen suddenly freezes, her bright green eyes widening in awe as she watches Darghon's incredible metamorphosis.

Vinoh floats in Krazixs' mind seeking. Sifting through memories of the recent pass Vinoh travels through their fights through the tomb until he stands inside the memory of right before they entered. Reaching back further things become blacker, and more dreadful, without notice Vinoh is sucked into a mindless horror. . .

Vinoh wakes with a start. The pain and horror of what he has just witnessed in his own mind is only equaled by his astonishment at Darghon's metamorphisis. His dragon friend now took up most of the available space in the room; in fact Vinoh found that his head is resting on Darghon newly formed tail!

Sitting up, Vinoh turns to where Krazixs is sleeping. The mind mage tries to get a grip on the situation while blocking the images of the elf's memories from his head for a moment, but it's no good... This little mage had suffered a great deal and he was not of this plane, that much Vinoh was sure of. In fact, much like Darghon, Krazixs seems to have undergone his own metamorphisis, albeit not as extreme: his body looks taller and slightly stronger. Also, a pale aura of light surrounds him. Most interesting.

Slightly exhausted and overwhelmed by the recent events, both on this plane and in his mind, Vinoh pulls out an apple from his bag, sits next to Krazixs and begins to eat it, taking occasional swigs from his water skin.

Darghon wakes up.. seeing the little pixie in front of his snout he snorts at her.. slowly he gets up.. his head hitting the ceiling.. "Oof.." After shaking his head Darghon surveys the room, himself and his friends.. "I hope I haven't scared any of you.. and now.. looking at my size.. I don't know if this was such a good idea, I don't even know how I'm goin to fit out the door... if only I were smaller.."

The thought is what spurred it.. he started to slowly shrink in size untill he was the size of a large dog. Darghons eyes widened as he saw everything around him grow.. "Wow hrmm.. this helps, I guess I am reborn again.. I feel like a child learning to walk almost.."

Darghon smiles heartedly..

"Would you like to find out XianXian?" Darghon grins a toothey grin.. "Now if I only had some tomato sauce.. aren't you lucky I don't have any little lady.." Looking to Kentelos.. "I don't know if congratulations are in order yet.. there's still much to know about my true form.."

Darghon gets up not feeling so confined now and tries to walk.. fumbling and stumbling abit but slowly gettin the hang of it.. "Seems even moving will be difficult for a while.."

Just as he finishes barring the last door, Thantos turns around a the gasps from his friends and immediately reaches for his sword. Suddenly realizing that it is actually Darghon he relaxes a bit and moves toward the towering creature. Even as he approaches he notices Darghon shrink in size.

"Weird, I didn't know Dragon's could do that", he thinks to himself.

As he get's closer he notices Darghon is trying out his new body. Ever the pessimist in this dark place Thantos sees Darghon as a powerful weapon..especially if he has his breath weapon.

"Darghon, Are you truly a dragon? Can you breath fire from your mouth? I think that might come in handy if we are to complete our quest?"

Darghon sighs and looks around "I am sorry..." he then spies Krazixs and smiles.. it is good to see that the small elf can finally sleep peacefully..

Thinking to himself what fine armor Darghon's scales would make..the knight asked a question.

"My friends, I have some news for you.

It would seem that Darghon is not the only one who has changed on this day. Indeed, our friend Krazixs has just learnt a bit more about himself. As per his request, I helped him probe his memories, in order to unlock his past and potential abilities.

It would seem that this elf was once a being, that was struck down to earth during a great battle. His memories after that are blurry, but I believe he was... "tampered" with upon his fall to our plane. However, together we were able to unlock a few of his powers. Amidst all the pain of his memories, I did feel a strong sense of compassion and light. Therefore, I believe Krazixs is now able to exert some sort of positive power. Perhaps they are clerical in nature, but that is for him to tell us once he wakes up."

Vinoh then turns to look at the sleeping elf. He has a peaceful expression, and the mind mage is glad he was able to help his friend find at least part of what he was looking for.

::the pixie whispers in Sexodus' ear, and with a nod of approval, jumps and frollicks to the foot of the dog-dragon, and then pauses in anxiety.

Staring at the dog-dragon's eyes, she puts on hand on its claw, and then slowly begining to climb, she works her way up to the shoulders and neck of the dragon. As she makes her way up she increases her speed.::

D'Aleen casts a look to where Krazixs is sleeping peacefully. So many changes so quickly, she thinks to herself, as her eyes shift to watch Darghon as he tries to master his use of fire breath. If he is able to harness that power it certainly will come in handy as Thantos had pointed out.

Reaching under her cloak the elf pulls out her flask of spring water and takes a long drink from it. Feeling refreshed she thinks of Krazixs. Thankful that some of his questions are at last being answered, with Vinoh's aid, she hopes he finds some peace in his mind. Thinking of what they are most likely to come up against in the near future, she is thankful for the discovery of his powers. D'Aleen had a very strong feeling they would require every bit of help they could get before their task was through.

Krazixs drifted dreamless and unafraid, peacful. His mind at rest and his soul less troubled. Noises around him began to penetrate his rest. Keeping his eyes closed he stretched. Feeling for once rested and relaxed the small elf opens his eyes, and see's he's no longer a small elf. Trying to focus his eyes he notices the robe that was once too big and cumbersome now come down to somewhere near mid-shin. His too big shoes were now a little too snug. His hands seemed larger, and his body seemed a bit more muscular rather than emanciated. Just as his eyes were beginning to adjust, a gigantic dragon's tale sores about a foot over his head.

Well, that's interesting

A pixie flutters about between a gentlemen dressed all in black and the table he was leaned up against.

. . . definatley interesting

Memory rushed back and he remembered where he was and his companions, however the dragon, and the pixie were a little distuurbing, as he struggled to remember when he had come into there particular company.

As he pondered, memory of his mind trip with Vinoh came back. Flashes and images, but not real whole memories. His thinking was much clearer, and he decided his inability to recall exactly what the mind mage had released is probably due to his mind adjusting to his physical and mental changes.

Closing his eyes Krazixs concentrates, as he does so a new power blossomed in his mind. Focusing he found that beside the few spells of power that were available he found spells of healing as well.

Hmmmm. . . .it seems the mind mage was more succesful than I thought

Standing he stretched and yawned, feeling revived and anew. Looking about at his other companions he noticed he was a bit taller than D'Aleen though not as tall as the rest. His staff that was once overly large, now seemed more a walking stick and he tossed it away disdainfully.

. . . lord I wish I had my sword. . .

Now that was a strange thought, when had he ever held a sword? Oh well. Krazixs looks around to find a suitable weapon searching amongst the debris of the chamber he was in.

Glad that the elf is finally awake, Vinoh walks up to him.

"Krazixs, I hope our little mind journey was helpful to you. I must say that you still have many things to sort out up there!"

The mind mage then notices Krazixs discard his staff, a look of confusion on his face. Briefly scanning his thoughts, Vinoh had an idea.

"Darghon, now that you have a more powerful form, why don't you help our elven friend here with some equipment. Your lightblade or Sparrow's sword, perhaps?"

Vinoh then turned, giving Krazixs a small, knowing smile, then turned to the rest of the group.

"I believe that we are as safe as we're going to be for now. Why don't we post a watch and get some much needed rest?"

D'Aleen watches the group with a keen eye and takes a delicate bite from a piece of cheese she has unwrapped from her provisions. Nibbling away she takes advantage of the temporary respite.

Stretching her sore muscles, she slides into one of the few battered chairs left in one piece and tries to relax as she waits to see what the others decide the next move shall be.

Now smaller than his usual size and able to move around abit more he wanders over to where the taller Krazixs is.. "Krazixs, you look well friend.." Darghon grins.. "I have some items I no longer have use for.." And with that he stands on his hind legs using his tail to balance, reaching into his d-bag he pulls out sparrows sword "Here.. use this.. it was not foremally mine and therefor have no real need for it.." Darghon hands the sword over to Krazixs and getting back down onto his front claws walks over to where D'aleen is.. eyeing off her cheese.

With his now deep voice he says.. "I think we should move on.. unless there are those of you that still need some rest.. if so I will stay on guard" Darghon looks around at the room "And besides I don't think anything will be gettin in here with Thantos' strong reinforcing.."

With that he lies down and crosses his front claws curling up in his tail... his eyes open.. ears listening waiting for an answer..

Enjoying Thantos' touch upon her, brief as it is, she smiles and her eyes follow him as he finishes barring the last door. "Vinoh is correct - we probably should rest a little and take this opportunity to gather our strength. I don't think I shall be able to sleep well though, considering the last time we did we lost the Father, so I shall stay up with Thantos. Bob Biter Non-smokers die everyday Location: Montreal	Telepathic message to Krazixs "My friend, when you asked for my help before, I was unable to give it due to my weakened state. However, I am now fully restored. You seemed troubled by something, Krazixs. Let me help you, but first, let's go to where I could be of most use to you." Vinoh's aura extends to include Krazixs' in his. Then slowly, they both travel mentally to Vinoh's grove. This is the first time Vinoh ever brought anyone else to this place and he feels somewhat nervous, but there is a greater purpose at work. In the grove, they both appear as they did in real life, except that Krazixs seems to be sleeping on the dewy grass, surrounded by globes of different sizes suspended in mid-air. Some globes shine brightly, other faintly, while a great many are tarnished by some sort of ectoplasmic grime. Astounded by all of this, the mind mage circles Krazixs slowly, trying to make sense of all of this. He feels doubt in the elf's mind. Still sleeping, the mage's thoughts escape hin head in the form of question marks, which float slowly towards several of the grime-covered spheres. Suddenly, Vinoh understands. Krazixs wants to know himself. He wants to unlock his blocked memories, in order to better understand what he is and to help his friends. Looking at Krazixs' fitful sleep, Vinoh tries to convey feelings of sympathy, not desiring to break the sacred silence of the place by using speech, mental or otherwise. He walks slowly to one of the darkened spheres, brushes the sleeve of his robe on it. The grime feels tough, as if a very old shell surrounded the hidden knowledge beneath. Stepping back, Vinoh wonders how he could pierce such a barrier without harming the knowledge or memory within, which could seriously harm his elven friend on a mental level, or at least push the knowledge even further back. __________________ A plan is just a list of things that don't happen. GoldenOuroboros The Cheshire Grin... Location: An Aussie Outback	Darghons body rests.. but his mind wanders.. "What where am I..?" Surrounded by darkness yet light as well he tries to see himself yet cannot.. a booming voice comes from behind him.. "Son.. It is time" recognising the voice he starts to fear.. starts to feel afraid.. the darkness encroches on him.. "Do not be afraid son... feel yourself.. look deep into your heart and see what you truely are.. break free of the bonds that they did bind you with.." He stops fearing.. feeling safe again the dark dissapates the light returns.. the light and the dark, in unison with one another. He searches himself.. deep down into his mind body and heart he knows what he is.. he is alike his father.. more his father than his mother.. This is the truth. The light and the dark start to swirl around his conciousness.. the light forming lines.. the dark forming depth.. He turns.. and sees his father. "Thankyou..." His father nodded "You are now truely my son.." He nodded and vanished.. "No wait" his conciousness yelled.. "How do I leave this place?". In a booming voice.. "You will it... awaken.. enter your body.." Darghon closed his metaphysical eyes.. feeling the line from his body.. willing himself back... Following himself back he entered his cage once again.. only this time to be free! .......................... Darghon awoken with a start.. the energy that had been building up in his body had now been awakened.. things started moving within him.. he started glowing.. the pain, the agony. He could feel his skin peeling, which ofcourse it was.. it was giving way to his new being.. his true self.. he new the truth now and was goin to embrace it.. His aura was glowing and absorbing more energy from around his being, he changed into his were form.. yet further.. he screamed in agony and pain.. light and dark were emitted from his body.. his body became longer.. scales rose to the surface of his skin. Everything burned. Bones shifted, new ones grew, organs that weren't needed were replaced by new ones. His head grew longer. His jaw wider, teeth arose from his gums.. He screamed.. no roared out into the room. His wings grew more. His arms became legs and his hands grew wider. Talons grew out of his fingers, long claws.. His tail lengthened, pincers grew on the end.. This was the truth.. Darghon was one of the last in the line of the golden dragons.. a golden great horned dragon. He was his fathers son.. he now belong. And with that.. it was all over.. Darghon fell to the ground with an almighty thump.. the now dragon lying on the ground.. unconcious.. his new form bioregenerating the last few bits that were needed. Repairing the tears in his flesh.. His new dragonish reptillian eyes opening wide.. then closing to rest. __________________ Can you see me grin grin grrriiiiinnnning?!

She runs several hundred steps around the entire body of the dragon-kind and finally stares wide eyed into the huffing snout of the newly awakened prisoner of life, and turns to the majority of the party:: "I do not think he will fit in my box." The knight continued to move backward to allow Darghon room to breathe. The knight drew in breath as if to say something...then stopped,his mouth closed. Never a dull moment.......

Bob Biter Non-smokers die everyday Location: Montreal	Vinoh wakes with a start. The pain and horror of what he has just witnessed in his own mind is only equaled by his astonishment at Darghon's metamorphisis. His dragon friend now took up most of the available space in the room; in fact Vinoh found that his head is resting on Darghon newly formed tail! Sitting up, Vinoh turns to where Krazixs is sleeping. The mind mage tries to get a grip on the situation while blocking the images of the elf's memories from his head for a moment, but it's no good... This little mage had suffered a great deal and he was not of this plane, that much Vinoh was sure of. In fact, much like Darghon, Krazixs seems to have undergone his own metamorphisis, albeit not as extreme: his body looks taller and slightly stronger. Also, a pale aura of light surrounds him. Most interesting. Slightly exhausted and overwhelmed by the recent events, both on this plane and in his mind, Vinoh pulls out an apple from his bag, sits next to Krazixs and begins to eat it, taking occasional swigs from his water skin. __________________ A plan is just a list of things that don't happen.

"Oof.." After shaking his head Darghon surveys the room, himself and his friends.. "I hope I haven't scared any of you.. and now.. looking at my size.. I don't know if this was such a good idea, I don't even know how I'm goin to fit out the door... if only I were smaller.." The thought is what spurred it.. he started to slowly shrink in size untill he was the size of a large dog. Darghons eyes widened as he saw everything around him grow.. "Wow hrmm.. this helps, I guess I am reborn again.. I feel like a child learning to walk almost.." Darghon smiles heartedly.. __________________ Can you see me grin grin grrriiiiinnnning?!

Cubby Insane Location: BC, Canada	Just as he finishes barring the last door, Thantos turns around a the gasps from his friends and immediately reaches for his sword. Suddenly realizing that it is actually Darghon he relaxes a bit and moves toward the towering creature. Even as he approaches he notices Darghon shrink in size. "Weird, I didn't know Dragon's could do that", he thinks to himself. As he get's closer he notices Darghon is trying out his new body. Ever the pessimist in this dark place Thantos sees Darghon as a powerful weapon..especially if he has his breath weapon. "Darghon, Are you truly a dragon? Can you breath fire from your mouth? I think that might come in handy if we are to complete our quest?" __________________ Don't be irreplaceable - if you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted!

Bob Biter Non-smokers die everyday Location: Montreal	"My friends, I have some news for you. It would seem that Darghon is not the only one who has changed on this day. Indeed, our friend Krazixs has just learnt a bit more about himself. As per his request, I helped him probe his memories, in order to unlock his past and potential abilities. It would seem that this elf was once a being, that was struck down to earth during a great battle. His memories after that are blurry, but I believe he was... "tampered" with upon his fall to our plane. However, together we were able to unlock a few of his powers. Amidst all the pain of his memories, I did feel a strong sense of compassion and light. Therefore, I believe Krazixs is now able to exert some sort of positive power. Perhaps they are clerical in nature, but that is for him to tell us once he wakes up." Vinoh then turns to look at the sleeping elf. He has a peaceful expression, and the mind mage is glad he was able to help his friend find at least part of what he was looking for. __________________ A plan is just a list of things that don't happen. Staring at the dog-dragon's eyes, she puts on hand on its claw, and then slowly begining to climb, she works her way up to the shoulders and neck of the dragon. As she makes her way up she increases her speed.::

So many changes so quickly, she thinks to herself, as her eyes shift to watch Darghon as he tries to master his use of fire breath. If he is able to harness that power it certainly will come in handy as Thantos had pointed out. Reaching under her cloak the elf pulls out her flask of spring water and takes a long drink from it. Feeling refreshed she thinks of Krazixs. Thankful that some of his questions are at last being answered, with Vinoh's aid, she hopes he finds some peace in his mind. Thinking of what they are most likely to come up against in the near future, she is thankful for the discovery of his powers. D'Aleen had a very strong feeling they would require every bit of help they could get before their task was through. __________________ You've been a naughty boy....go to my room!
