I am selling my enter the fatrix game... what should I get?

Vietcong
Red Faction II (loved original)
Unreal II (addicted to UT 2003)

I'd say..neither. Vietcong runs like ass on most people's system, and even then the AI is idiotic. Red Faction 2 is so short it's not even funny. And again the geo-mod crap is barely there, plus there's no multiplayer at all. And if you're addicted to Unreal2003 then Unreal 2 will be..a shock.. Because unreal 2 is all singleplayer really and is meh..I personally didn't like it because it didn't have a particullary good story when that's what it was supposed to focus on.

If anything I'd say go out and maybe find an older game, like System shock 2, or Max Payne with the matrix mod, and play those instead.

Or you could get Battlefield 1942 to play one of the boatloads of mods they have out for it

Pretty much exactly what scud said... those three are very crappy and at the best mediocre... i suggest you wait until the next big game comes out.

Vice City on PC?

I have Vice City, Max Payne. I'll try Unreal II because I got today for cheap...

Out of those three I'd say Unreal 2.

Vietcong runs like a mule on most systems (not mine :D) and isn't very interesting, other than the dialogue which is absolutely hillarious.

Red Faction II is pretty useless, part 1 was ok but 2 is total meh-age.

Unreal 2 isn't the best either but it does sport fantastic visuals and some very cool gameplay moments.

You can get it for roughly five bucks. Great game.. Multiplayer only, and not the largest community... now, but its growing and the gameplay rules :) I did mention how fucking kickass the gameplay is right? Because its that sweet. ;);)

Neither. Get Battlefield 1942. I just can't praise this game enough. Then get the Desert Comabat mod. Your jaw will drop.

Then again, I'm not particularily thrilled by modern War games much...'Cept with BF1942 due to vehicles and the such...

better is Black Hawk Down or maybe Splinter Cell :)

WW2 games own, I'm a fanatic, still want Doom3 more than HL2 though. Mmmm crispied DirectX9/OpenGL1.6 utlised demons...

Unreal II is a very pretty single player game.. As you already know there is no multiplayer and the campaign is very short. However the wow factor of the graphics really sucked me in..

I would say go with Vietcong, I have heard nothing but great thigns about this game..

Splinter Cell, definately.

I played Red Faction 2 and Unreal 2 and got an enjoyable single player experience out of both. Neither has multiplayer, but both are very fun. Both games got decent reviews also, 70s to 80s (PC Gamer). Defenatly get these if you want something to play through and have fun.
