Battlefield 1942 and Mods
 

Battlefield 1942 is probably the best game I've played in a LONG time. I've only been playing it for a couple of months but I am aware that there are countless mods for this game.

What are some good mods to check out? Heard Desert Combat is good....

Desert Combat rocks... and a new mod just came out... its only in its first release its called Galactic Conquest, its a Star Wars mod for BF1942

Its kinda rough because its a first release but it has ALOT of potential.

Star Wars Galactic Conquest could be great but the first beta version that i played had like hardly any textures and was glitchy. I really hope that later updates make it a lot better.

I asked myself why there wasnt a Battlefield 1942 game based on Star Wars earlier today.

Check out battlefield pirates, it's in way early alpha, but kinda fun

BF1942 is a great game!

I really love it. Desert Combat just plain rocks! They did a great job and are working really hard on it...

I'm sorry to say that I have yet to try other mods as I don't have much time to play recently... but I'm going to scracth this itch soon! :)

What we really need is a future war TERMINATOR mod for BF1942... though we are actually getting a game similar to that near the end of the year (War of the Machines)

There was a Terminator MOD titled 'BF2029': Clicky
but if you read the site it will tell you what happened with the development.
