Did any one here ever play Tribes?

and If so did you ever play on Freddies Mod?

I love tribes, and freddies mod was the best. It was very similar to Nappys mod, but much better.

this thread is really pointless unless you descibe what you are talking about, name it better, and possibly point to some links. Please be more descriptive in the future.

It's kind of self explanetory, you either played it or you didn't. I just wanted to know if anyone here played either of those mods.

A lot of my friends jumped on the Tribes bandwagon but they all jumped off after Tribes 2. Looks interesting though.

I used to play tribes, but my comp sucked to hard to run it well so I sold it to my freind.

nope, never played.... i got burnt out on the game based purly off of my friends talking about it all f'in day....

BLOODY AWSOME GAME!!!! :D it was great becaus eyou did not have to have the cd in the computer to play... AKA huuge lan games for the price of one, or you and a bunch of friends can chip in for one game amongst you all. ALthough i must say i was slightly disappointed in tribes 2... Better graphics, but no real vision, nothing changed the game that much. Oh yeah tehre were bioderms... o0o0o0o0o0o0o0oh. Although HUnter was a great gaming option with the flag collecting, once had a 55 flag drop.. it was nasty. anyway great game, good thought, just didn't carry through to the second as well as it shuld have... but if anyone wants to chat... War Craft 3 is the best god-be-damned game int he world!

I've played tribes 2, but didn't really grip the game that much.. just saw it as another shoot-em up *shrugs*

Yeah, I never got into tribes two. But I loved tribes. There was a lot of difference between the different mods that were out. Thanks for replyin :)

I love Tribes and play it at work when i can. It has a 1.1 second return to my work screen when you hit the 'windows' key.

<b>Question:</b> I used to have Win98, and Tribes looked great, and played beautifilly. Now i had to update to Win2000, and i cant get the same graphics. Did this happen to anyone else? How can i fix it. (no hardware was changed, just the OS)
