who loved this game? i still play it all the time. closest thing i find to it nowadays is Age of wonders 1 and 2. both of those are actually pretty good succesors to the throne but i still love the original. there was some talk about a sequal but unfortunatly microprose has fallen upon hard times. we can always hope

ps: did anyone ever dig up anything on the multiplayer patch for the game. it was a home grown program by some dude. if anyone has a full version please let me know. that would be sweet. thanks.

I never tried the multiplayer, but loved that buggy damn games to pieces. I have re-installed it a few times over the years, as nothing else (including AOW1,2 or 2) scratches quite the same itch.

the bugs in that game drove me nuts!

but other than that it was awesome
