Warez are anything stolen and traded electronicly.
a lot of people don't like the word 'stolen'. its called 'denial'. anyhow, example: I had WC3, i wasn't going to go buy another copy. lotta $$. so i downloaded it. that's a ware. trading programs, music, games... turns them into warez, ie: stolen goods. we all try to have moral codes concerning it, also. including myself. for instance, i buy 2-3 games a month and pc games and i rarely get along. so i download the game; if it's remotely good i delete it and buy it. if it sucks then fuck it. also like roms for games. systems that are obselete and never sell in stores except occasional $10 pieces of shit are more than justifiable. i think letting old games sit and die because no one can find or afford them is a crime against humanity. i do not support most new game trading (altho i did get the last castlevania. i already at a copy of something elsei d/l) |

You can get into alot of trouble for downloading/trading warez. Game Production companies don't fuck around.
At the same time some of the younger guys at the place I work seem to trade stolen games like they were trading baseball cards. It's second nature to them. |
