I bought it for my dad and have played it.. It's just more of the same, honestly.
It has extremely awkward controls, messed up camera angles, and can be incredibly laggy for no reason at times. If you're a die-hard Lara Croft fan, get it. If not, don't.

I've played it and personally I think it's the best in the series. If you're looking to get it on the PS2 I can't say whether that's a good choice or not but if you're aiming for the PC version, by all means get it. The storyline is very clever and the whole game has a cinematic tone to it (but at the same time allows you to actually play the game unlike the likes of Metal Gear Solid 2 or Final Fantasy X). The controls do take a little getting used to but when you do get them, they're brilliant.
And if you're still uncertain, well, Lara's breasts jiggle when she moves. It's hypnotic. p.s. Tomb Raider III onwards were tragedies, this one is the redeemer, can't wait for Tomb Raider 7! Last edited by Mr.Deflok; 07-29-2003 at 12:55 AM.. |
