The Frozen Trone
Does anybody on this fourm play this me and my buddies made a clan with the guys from our CS server. Anyway I'm of moderate talent, i'm no Bei, but i like to think of myself as a pretty good undead player. Me and my buddy abazaba were playing a human and undead combo today.
Area of effect spells are getting a little out of hand. They used a Blood Mage/Arch Mage w/ a Crypt Lord/Dread Lord He would impale us then carion strom us as flame strike, and blizzard owned the hell out of us. It was pretty bad we lost 5 grunts in a mater of seconds. The sheer amount of hitpoints they were able to take off us was nuts. We're going to start trying to use carrion strom and shockwave in combo w/ impale as hes an orc player and they only have the one area of effect spell. If you guys have any good 2v2 Strats that you've seen work lemme know -resident wc3 TFT addict |

If you go human, try Bloodmages banish. It makes a target unit go at 50% speed, and makes them ethereal, thereby suceptable to spells and magic damage. Simply do Banish->Flamestrike->Blizzard (from the Archmage)= dead enemy hero. best to do that on the crypt lord, he's one nasty mofo at higher levels. AND.....since flamestrike and blizzard are AoE spells, it'll reap his grunts. Of course, this is all just for humans......or is it?
Might I suggest, when possible, getting the merc hero Dark Ranger. Her ultimate is charm letting you take control of any enemy unit. Including peons. Follow the logical course from there.

........................gah, i play TFT religiously.
let's see.... 2v2 eh? 2v2 is all about rushing and wasting your enemy's TP. Here's what you do. You go human, make AM with water elemental, pump out 6 foot by nightfall, get defend. Have your partner go as NE and make 5 archers by night with DH with mana burn. Go together and assault one of their bases. As soon as you see them teleporting back to the base run away. Congrats, now they have no TP, wait 2 min, and now attack. They will have to walk back to their base now cause you successfully trashed their TP scroll. If you see any piercing, use defend, and keep your foots in front of your archers while constantly pumping out water elementals for meat shield. your partner should be FFing with his archers and mana burning the shit out of their heroes. Keep units rallied to your hero. I'm 7-1 with this strategy with my AT partner. Get on BNET, my name is 'PinkysRecords' , perhaps I could teach you guys some stuff, later. O wait... you guys are Undead and Orc, even easier. Mass grunts, mass ghouls, get Impale for the stun, but DONT GET TC.... Get the Shadow Hunter, cause healing wave will guarantee you a win, it's such an underrated rushing spell. Impale and Healing Wave will make it cake for you to win. Just stay out of the AoE, you can usually see it coming.

http://www.battle.net/war3/ladder/re...ro-usage.shtml Hmmm Charm seems to be the ultimate spell that not very powerful at all. Whas worth taking over. Maybe an abomb or tauren. I'm sure she could charm a mountain giant, which is nice because you can't possess them when fully teched. Although i wonder. That one spell that the blood mage has could make mountain giants possesable i bet that would really fuck w/ a few night elfs Anyways i'm off to go play some TFT see ya in there maybe give me a /whisper |

Sometimes there are already threads on a subject already. Give the search function a try. There is a lot of really cool information out there already.

yeah, ghouls are seriously craptacular, they need something like Ner'zhul's Grace or something. Usually when i'm assaulting an Orc base i target burrows 1st. They fall down really quick, and if it's a rush, he probably won't have more than two or three. As for UD frost towers, ignore them, they have awesome armor and would take forever to bring em down. They only dish out 9-10 damage anyhow, usually doesn't make a difference, but if you can, avoid attacking UD.

I will add that i love the dark ranger, she can sharm air units which is sweet and has a real short cool down time. I usually just pick off the strongest units the person has. My favortie strategy for orc is going 3 heros. First Tauren Chieftain to stun enemies, then Far Seer with Chain Lightning and Naga Sea Witch with Forked Lightning. That damage stack is really powerful and can kill a lot of stuff rather quickly.

mah-ha! you CAN possess/charm the worker of any race, and build the corrresponding tech tree. e.g. possess peon, build orc, possess peasent, build human, etc....
very surprising when your playing undead, or whathaveyou, and come at the enemy with thier own units.
