Tilted gaming group?
We've got a sizeable group of people checking these forums here, especially the gaming forum...why not set up some sort of game schedule/clan so we can all play together?
I've got people playing WC3, Half-Life and tons of other games, and the community here is short of fuck-wits so why not play together? Someone's got to have a decent computer to host on, or know an empty good server we can inhabit. I personally play WC3(x), Half-Life(HLDM, NS, and CS) and Dungeon Siege a ton. I'd love to play online with people in any of those games. Everyone put a list of the games they play frequently and times they generally play and we can start arranging groups and such. I think it'd be a great way to hang out. Oh, I play every night from approximately 6pm-2am EST EDIT: I'd love to get a Tides of Blood (www.tidesofblood.com) WC3 group together, or a Natural Selection clan. Those are my favorite games.

Not many people know that the tfproject started out as a gaming group called "TBA," contrary to the popular belief that it's always been about boobies. They played quake or unreal tournament I believe, just a neat little piece of trivia.

Sounds like a good idea, and I'd join except I only have a couple of MP capable games (Age of Mythology and IWD2). I have half-life but havn't updated CS in over a year, though I updated DOD not too long ago while I was at a lan and had cable access.

I thougt this same thing a while back, but I figured the clan would need another page(or at least their own forum) to easily stay together and informed. I PM'd Halx about it and offered to throw up a clan page, but the idea seemed to piss him off. He said he didn't want anyone trying to 'siphon' traffic from tfp. So I said screw it.
I was definately not trying to steal traffic. My host would kill me if I got 1/10 the traffic this site gets. I just thought it would be fun to play with TFP'ers. |

I'd definitely play Enemy Territory. And it's free for everyone. Plus, the idiot population would be lessened tremendously so we could have fun games for once.

I'm in for ET as well. The only problem I could see would be lack of a home server. Home servers make group play so much easier, no having to decide what server to play on, you just jump on and see who's about.

I'd be willing to play WC3(TFT), half-life (preferrably TS, if you have it. blows CS out of the water, in my opinion), C&C generals, either of the homeworld games, NWN.......If anyone is intereted PM me. I think this is a great idea.

We've got a heck of a lot of people with Half-Life, it seems, so let's try to get a game going with one of those mods....hrmm, might be better to make a new "poll" thread about it....one sec

I play: Warcraft 2, Starcraft, UT, and will probably pick up diablo2 again once v1.10 comes out
(had my 1.09 account taken... basically had stopped playing, but I dont feel like remaking characters when I would prefer to wait for the patch) i know the games I play are a bit outdated, but to tell you the truth, I played UT2k3 and WC3 and wasn't impressed with either... I am more playability than eye candy, and that is what they struck me as (although Wc3 does have beautiful eye candy *thinks about Hal's comment* I think I will start putting [TFP] by my name in UT. have to represent.
