What kind of game is it? FPS? Strategy? How does it look, sound? Any memorable characters? What games are similer to this one? Who developed it? What makes the controls hard to get used to?

ok i'll answer the questions in order.
RPG. It looks ok, its 2d but the animation is pretty solid. Decent sound. I haven't played enough to notice memorable characters yet, just started. Its comparable to Diablo. The controls are crazy, you hold the right mouse button to move(the guy runs towards where the cursor is). Left click to attack. A S D F keys control your abilities/spells. Z X C keys use your health, mana and poison resistance potions. I'm not sure about the developer, i'll get back to you on that one. If you like rpg's I recommend you give this game a try. |

NoX has an interesting history. It's that game that made EA swear not to create M-rated games. At the E3 where they were demoing it, they had a model dressed up as the character from the box cover in skimpy outfit, etc. Larry Probst, the CEO, had spent most of the show up in the executive suite, taking meetings, etc. When he came down on the floor and saw the model, he ordered his people to get her off the floor immediately, *screamed* at a lot of people behind closed doors and then said that EA does *not* make games like that from "this point forward". The game got reworked a little, the model was not seen again for the rest of the show - and EA made a conscious shift in direction.
