Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault... I'm dissapointed

Warning, there are ending spoilers ahead, so if you plan on beating this game, go elsewhere.

On that note, I'm so pissed!

I borrowed my brothers copy of MOHAA and I really got into the game, it was challenging, interesting, and even had a decent story line going.

And then it ended. WTF???

No movie? No more story line? Just the effin' credits?

I mean, yeah, I didn't pay for the game, but seriously, after such great playability I was expecting a bit more.

Oh well...

Yeah, I never did finish it but I've heard similar things from a couple of people.

Many, many game endings suck. I hate playing through a long game and getting an ending less than a minute long. That's probably a good thread idea(if it's not done already?).

Do you really need an ending cinematic with that awesome normandy map in the game?

I was a bit dissapointed too. Leaves you much more satisfied when you actually get something for beating the game. Darn them lazy game developers.

I loved the game but yeah the end was the biggest POS i've ever seen. But then thats what i come to expect from alot of games these days .

But with so many ppl using pirate software *looks around* why would u as a software developer bother making this massive cool cinematic at the end of the game costing more project time and money if half the ppl that will see it have ripped the game off neway? The game essentially is complete and alot of companies finish their games like that using that frame of mind. Also i read some surverys not so long ago that a significant part of gamers who play sp components of games they have often never finish them. Maybe companies took note of that market research...

Shhh! You're supposed to leave the game with the satisfaction of knowing that you destroyed a Mustard gas facility... it's something to be proud of!

Probably more of a matter of Electronic Arts wanting the game on the market as soon as possible.

I thought it was a pretty nifty game, but overall, there are better games out there. The Normandy level was amazing at first, but once I realized it was just a timing puzzle, it got old (and easy) fast.

Although that damn sniper town was such a pain in the ass. Save-walk one step-die-reload-walk one step-shoot-save-walk one step-die-reload-walk one step-shoot-save-walk... ugh. I don't miss that, and I didn't feel any real sense of triumph once I got past it.

The developers themselves have agreed that their was no excuse for the shockingness of that level.

Check out CALL OF DUTY if you liked MOH, it has ragdoll physics, uses a better engine and promises to have non MOH sniper street missions. BTW, in one level you've got 300 Russians storming a beach... 3 fucking Hundred, they say there will be hardly any lag (FPS stutter) too, Impressive.

Yeah, I saw the footage from E3. Looks pretty good, but we'll have to see. One thing that bugs me is that you're never (or hardly ever) able to play as the Germans. At least Wolfenstein:ET allows it, but that game isn't very good in the first place, IMHO. But what's the big deal? It's not like every soldier in the Wehrmacht was some crazy baby killer. I can understand not letting you play as an SS Officer, but even then... and then the strategy games DO let you play as the Germans, so is it just the first-person aspect? I would think your average gamer could handle the relevant issues alright.

I didn't like the game very much. I took in nearly a full magazine of submachine gun fire, killed the guy with a few shots of my pistol, picked up some bandaids, then I'm ready to get shot with another billion bullets.

I've only played the demo

That's right, I mean the Russians raped women who came out of slave camps, how sick is that? The Germans were great people but had a tainted few who ruined it for all.

Well the game was better then most. At least when it came out it didn't have a thousand bugs that made you download six patches before the game worked right! Now that is B.S.

Medal of honor single player is pointless, im multiplayer all the way

spearhead was a great addition for multiplayer because of the new weapons, it was the single playe that was abit two short(although i dont realy play multiplayer, so waht the hay)
