Need help: Unique music creation game.
Here I am again askin bout ol'school games. Ive been looking for this game for ever, still no luck.
Description: The game was a way of making music but in a wierd way. You had a grid & you placed different buttons on the grid, then you released different kind of insects onto the grid too, the insects would just follow lines on the grid but when the bug hit a button it would make a noise. The buttons could be set so that bugs would pass over, bounce off, or turn left or right. So, for example you could set up a bug to bounce between two buttons creating a drum beat, the timing of the beats is dictated by the distance between the buttons & the speed of the bug. Set up another bug to go around in a square, triggering different sounds as it passed over each button, & so on, until you have a tune. Different combinations of bugs & buttons would trigger different sounds. as far as I can remember it was released in the mid 90's I only ever had a demo & I cant remember what it was called. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again, you all rule. |
Well, I am not sure if this is it, but it sure sounds like it meets the criteria:

Thanks Nefir, The Idea seems the same but the prog/game Im lookin for was more cartooney, More modern. You had a wide choice of "bugs" & when one made a noise it set off a little graphic. ITs hard to explain really.
Nice try & thanks for the effort. |
