Ps2 game: Unlimited SaGa
 

My brother got this game a few weeks back and hates it. I on the other hand gave it a chance, and find it somewhat amusing...maybe its because its such an original type of game?

Basically its a quasi-rpg made by Square-Enix...personally i was expecting a much better product from them, but eh, im not too picky. Most people would probably hate this game, but if you have an open mind about it, it can be enjoyable. Its almost like a board-game, with an odd fighting system.

Has anyone played this game yet? If so let me know which character you picked & what you think about the game. I picked Ventus, and have yet to group up with any of the other main characters. I'm sort of stuck i think :mad:

I like Saga frontier, hated Saga frontier 2, and from the description of Unlimited Saga, ill probably hate it too...

Everyone tells me how bad this game is, but its so hard not to buy anything with the square-enix logo. Its like it calls me when im in a store. I guess ill rent it.

I didn't like SaGa Frontier, so I'm assuming Unlimited SaGa isn't very good either. But I usually always give Square a chance.

I saw the game at e3. The opening cinema really impressed me, but everything I have read since says the game is horrible.

the only thing i found bad about it is that its HARD. like.. REALLY HARD. 3 hour long missions, only to die against the nigh-impossible boss of the area.... tons of random fights and little to no means of healing yourself.. its HARD.
but the pure creativity in it make sup for it. you have to see some of the character designs to believe them, their crazy and awesome. i think everybody should try it.. but few will like it.

i bought this game and took it back with in 3 minutes. i bought it from best buy, and i told them it didnt work. took that game (in pacage to super target and got f zero. fuck this game, its awfull.

i too think the saga series is just plain bad. square-enix should just stop with this series. i tried sagafrontier 1 and 2. unlimited just didnt appeal to me.
