online poker
first off, i know this really isn't the right forum for this, but gaming seems to be more "computer gaming" and i figure more people will see this here then there. mods, feel free to move.
does anyone here play poker online? i posted a thread earlier about the world series of poker, and i think i may try to get into it via a feeder game for next years. i'm thinking i may try online poker for practice (along with going to my local casino) since i dont' think my home games are really cutting it. but i'm not sure what online casino's are reputable and how they work, and if they're good, easy to navigate, etc. anyone have any experiance with them? also, do any of them have free tables? if so, maybe us poker players can set up a tfp game weekly (on a free game). thanks guys and gals!!! |

I have used both intertops.com and bowmans.com, for mainly sports bets and some casino gambling.
Most online casinos have a "Free play" version of their games where they allow the users to get comfortable with the game, and then try it out with real cash. You should check out, http://www.wizardofodds.com, for strategies and facts about each online casino game you are interested in playing. They also have facts and tips about the real casinos. If you do sign with an online casino, look for casinos that offers bonuses for first time clients and the amount of cash you are depositing. Also, set a limit in terms of how much you are willing to lose out on and stick by it. |

ive played for real money on a bunch of these sites, and i have to say that PartyPoker.com is hands-down the best. It takes 10 seconds to transfer money from my credit card to my account, and then they credit you back your winnings (or partial losses) right back on that card or to your bank account. No hassle, no waiting. And there's always 6k+ people online, even late nite when I love to play. Just give it a try

i personally like paradise poker, most people online and you dont play against the house.
most online poker places are giving you like a 20-25% bonus for signing up so its not that bad a deal. something i found out though. capital one cards dont work as payment, apparently CO does not authorize "online gaming" transactions. |
