Anyone know what the release date for DoD:S is? Any news on that front at all? I can't seem to find much. The official DoD site has no mention of source at all. I bought HL2 silver just to make sure I would get the DoD upgrade when it was released.

DoD was god. Spent long time wasting away blasting Nazis. Mayeb the reason my GPA in college was low
Unfortunately, they released Steam and screwed most of the players. It didn't work when it came out and it ran people like me away. It became impossible for players with dial-up to play due to the fact you have to live download through steam all the updates. Most of us dial-uppers went to out broadband buddies house, downloaded the huge patches, burrnt it and went home. Steam killed that. Anyway, been meaning to check up on old DoD and see how it's going now days. Maybe when I get broadband soon I might go back to it, if I can find my half-life disk. |
