Pen and Paper RPGs
So who plays em?
I'm currently playing pathfinder (basically DnD 3rd if you haven't heard of it). I've also played Exalted (my favorite by far, I miss that so much). I've also played DnD 4e as well (kind of like it kind of don't.) Played Starwars briefly. I'm one of those min maxers, so if anyone needs any help with a build feel free to ask. Otherwise, what have you played? Still playing? PS Oh, I started playing about 6 years ago. Its so much better than video games. Only problem is getting enough people together to play regularly. |

i used to play alot in middle school but not so much anymore. usually if i sit down for long enough to play a session (usually a one-shot) its just a good reason to talk to all of my friends who still play on a regular basis. i used to play a halfling rogue that would spec to shadowdancer asap even though it meant not getting the improved initiative feat. for a rogue build i usually went with sneaky/combat because the artificer in the party could deal with disarming traps etc. i never played Exalted or Starwars, but my friends do play starwars and it seems like something i would be in to if i didn't have a gf and so many other hobbies.

I don't play anything pen and paper anymore on a regular basis (although I do play in a regular live action game).
The last one I played in is Rifts, which always holds a special place in my heart because it's actually the game that got me into RPGs.

I don't do pen and paper much anymore, but I do have some friends I FFRP (free-form role play) with on IRC. It's... probably more like interactive storytelling than pen and paper, since no one has set stats, generally.
We have rolled a few Changeling games in the past that were fun and had stats, but that was... at least a year or two ago, I think. I actually like the text-based gaming more than the shiny graphics in the MMOs. |
