Star Wars- Knights of the Old Republic
First, I don't know it goes in this forum or not, but its entertainment.
Well the game has finally GONE GOLD and within a week, it will be in my XBOX for sometime. Its the first RPG in the Star Wars Univerise and anybody who is into RPG's and Star Wars, I would highly recommend it. I have been watching the development of this game for over 2 years now and it will be one of those games that will change RPG's. I expect to be one of the games of the year. Anyway, sorry to rant and rave, but is there any other thoughts out there about this. Please let me and the rest of the board know. Peace. V. |

I nearly creamed my pants when I heard about this game a year or so. When I found out it would be coming out on Xbox first, I wanted to buy an Xbox. I have held myself back from that now, (I've got better use for my money than that, no offense)
Sounds great to hear those Star Wars fans roar again! ~on another note, does anybody know when it comes out on PC? I know a few months, but I can't find a Solid date. |

Near the end of the year.
Just to note, the game is NOT point and click as was previously remoured, it's a third person game. Another interesting fact is that KOTOR has the most recorded lines of speech ever used in a videogame. Personally I want Jedi Academy ahead of this one but will probably check it out anyway. |

the biggest plus that gives me hopes for this games is who has developed it. bioware guys, bioware!!! they get a ton of credit for helping to rebirth to the popularity of RPG's.. Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale.. they have some serious experience under their belts. this could turn out to be a really good game. as much as i love fantasy settings, it'll be nice to see something different.

I've played a lot of the third and first person starwars games and they really sucked. But this could seem really good. But I have not an X-Box so I'll just have to wait.

Yeah Bioware is amazing. I hope you all enjoy the game as much as I do. It is going to be a blast. It really sucks the distributors pushed it back a day, which sucks. Hopefully, with any luck I will get it tommorow.
Peace.

If any of you have questions or get stuck I'll try my best to help you with the game I finished it last night as the light side. So fire away.

I've played every Bioware RPG made and they are some of the best video games I have ever experienced. Everything these guys put their minds too seems to turn out great. With a lot of very poor Star Wars video games (Jedi Knight II is an exception in this case) I see this game really putting a good example for others to follow.

Played it for about 20 hours now. Bought my copy release day.
I can't get enough of this game. I should go back to playing it now, but I want to maximize my enjoyment over a longer period of time.

Holy shit, everywhere I went today to buy it yielded a nice big SOLD-OUT stand. I checked Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, and Target. I want this game so badly!

OK. I've been playing this game for nearly every waking hour I can spare on it.
It is probably the best game out there right now! Really! And, I don't even consider myself a big Star Wars geek or anything. It's just a really, really well done game.
