I got this game a long time ago but it didnt work with my pc. Now I see they have all the bugs out and its a lot cheaper. I am wondering if any of you have tried it and what yopu thought. any replies are appreciated.

I had it too... but then my play disc broke. They even sent out free 2nd copies to the people who actually really registered the game (I tend to... I don't see a reason why not most of the time) after a lot of the bugs were fixed, as well as free UO:T2A with I think 3 months free or some such at the same time. Then I lost that disc. So I have 2 install discs and no play disc. Bah! Anyone able to point me to a DL location with the play disc.... I've actually been kinda wondering if the game was any good since I couldn't get it to run well enough to get out of Britain at the start.

I've played Ultima Online for three years.

I constantly get sick of the game and dont even log on for a month at a time. Then I eventually come back and play some more. Right now I would quit but I have 18 million in gold which it's normal going rate is 20$ per million on ebay. If I ever get around to selling all of that I plan to sell my account and be done with UO. It has been a really fun game but the graphics aren't getting better and they update game content too slowly to keep me entertained.

I did have a tower (third largest house) which I sold for 16 million gold and 250$.

Oh and the latest expansion put so many bugs in the game that people who were on dial up couldn't even play it if more than 5 people were on screen. Fun.

Heh, Ultima: Ascension was Ultima 9 Zello

I have a 60+ month UO account that I pretty much never play, but still have cause it's free (long story), but that's not the point. He was asking about the 9th Ultima game, which when it came out was pretty much unplayable on any machine. I know I never played it beyond the city of Britain cause it was so choppy, slow, and over all craptacular at that point in time. I think with the later patches it became playable, but by then I had accidentally run over the play CD with my chair and snapped it in half. Ooops.

Ahh I was thinking it was one of the early UO expansions sorry about that. Now I want to know more about this game =)
