Awhile ago I got into WoW private servers after I got bored with normal WoW. The lawl factor was that the best (not all of course, there's 100s) private servers had better customer support, content updates, EVENTS!, items, progression etc. than the real game that cost money. I personally don't mind bugs much, get bored with level grinds, but love MMOs. So private servers really work for me, plus they're free. Only problem is finding good ones and the lag that usually accompanies them.

Lineage 2 and the final fantasy MMO looked fun, but the grind sounded atrocious, so boosted exp private servers would be great for those. LoTR looked fun but no PvP, I'm hoping there might be a private server with pvp enabled rules. Warhammer could be fun with auto maxed RR or something. So that's what I'm looking for, but I'd be open to even another WoW private server if it was good. Mostly I just want a decent population, no crazy cash only items, and little lag. Don't care much about which game so long as it has some PvP.

Anyways, to the point. I'm looking for leads to track these servers down. The top100 lists that spew from google searches I know from experience are often inaccurate. So I'm looking for personal experience, websites, or maybe even someone with better google skills to help me track down the quality private servers. I mean there's *got* to be a discussion or group out there with similar interests but I can't find anything like that.
