Hell yah, the coolest FPS of all time is back. I don't know if anyone ever played the buggy, lagfest of awesomeness that was tribes but if you are an FPS fan...or an FPS fan stuck in some MMO and can't get out cuz you are too damn bored of all the same old games out there I am going to point you in the right direction:

Man I miss Tribes. I wish there were a NEW version but with the -same- gameplay. Tribes: Vengeance was kinda shitty. Hell - I'd even prefer Starsiege: Tribes (Tribes 1).

Starsiege: Tribes is still one of my all time favorite games. I still play it sometimes, which is amazing for a game that old. I'm going to check this out as soon as I get home.

Agreed Tribes was one of my two favorite games of all time. Tribes 2 kind of sucked at release, but patches and the mod community made it great as well.

I so looked forward to Tribes 2. I got a new comp before it came out, it was the first game I preordered.....

And it was completely unplayable.

Thank god it wasn't that long before BF1942 came out and saved the day.

Fallen Empire: Legions is pretty neat if you liked Tribes 1... it's at InstantAction. Works kind of like quakelive.
