Gran Turismo 5 Prologue questions...
I just bought this used...looking through it I can't see where I can buy parts for my car or a WHEEL SHOP ?!?
Gran Turismo without a wheel shop = lame. seems like there's just 40 or so cars too...? what the hell is that ? sure looks good but if it's just got 40ish cars and no wheel shop I'm exchanging it for Grid. I was going to get Grid anyway. I've got GT 1,2,3 and 4. I just recently got 3 & 4 and they seem to be more or less like 1 & 2, just better looking. that's fine. but to cut out all that extra stuff in GT5 is really weird...I see it looks really great but at the expense of all that extra game it's not really worth keeping...unless it was just $5 like GT3 is now. just thought I'd ask here in case I just haven't found it in the game yet. it also seems I have no access to other cars in arcade mode ?!?!??! that's just retarded !!

There are no parts stores. You get quick-tune options once you hit A class.
Keep in mind your playing Gran Turismo 5 Prologue not Gran Turismo 5. Prologue is a just a very, very beefy demo and/or a playable preview build of what the final game will offer. This is why the game is cheaper than your standard PS3 titles. However, Sony has released some patches for the game which adds new content. They patches are called Spec II and Spec III respectively. GT5 isn't expected till roughly Christmas 2009.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a demo of the real game that is just really expensive. The fans wanted it and were willing to pay for it so they released it. The real GT5 is coming out next year (maybe).
Gran Turismo 2 is the best of the series by far. *EDIT* Whoops I had this open for a while and see that you already read it. Oh well, trade it in!!

I got it used with MGS4 and Ridge Racer 7 at Gamestop...all used copies and it was a buy 2 get one free day. so all of these were like $53.00 total. still a good deal.
I will get GT5 back to the store ans swap for Grid right away. MGS4 is pretty amazing...played from about 10PM to 6 AM this morning. pretty awesome how Snake chain smokes during installs
