It's alright. It's a good substitute for an MMO if you don't want to pay a monthly fee. It's basically a cross between Diablo II battle.net and World of Warcraft. That being said, I'd rather just pay the monthly fee and play an MMO with more content and a more immersive online experience.

Those others are essentially just expansions on the first game. It is like the updates and additional content you pay for monthly in World of Warcraft, but you just pay a lump sum once you beat the original Guild Wars to play more scenarios.

I had a few friends that used to really dig this game. One of them still is into it, but the others really hate it now. Apparently, there's a lot of grinding for items (I guess most games are like this anyways, but this one more so). I don't know, I'll have one of them review the game for you completely if you want, but it will likely be mostly bad.
