X360 GamerScore Whore? 200/200 1000/1000
 

Is anyone else a whore for GamerScore? I've decided to start really trying to complete games for the full 200 (XBLA) or 1000 (Retail) points. Care to share your experiences with doing just that? What about games that you've come close to getting 100% in?

So far my only 100% is Pac-Man CE (200/200)... it took about 45 minutes, lol, but the game is pretty fun. I'm about to complete Penny Arcade: Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness for all but one achievement. It took a couple of hours. Short for the money, but a good game regardless.

Haha, I'm somewhat of an Achievement whore I think. The only game I have 1000 pts for is BioShock. I still need to get the "Brass Balls" achievement though to put it at 1100/1100. Halo 3 I think I'm at 940 pts & Oblivion around 870.

I'm working on GTA4 now, but I can't seem to pull myself away from SSBB and CoD4 MP lol.

Somewhat of achievement whore here as well.

I tend to avoid the online achievements for the most part even if they're ridiculously easy. I don't know why...I just don't play a lot online. In fact, I think the only game I've got any online achievements is Halo 3 and that's just because I play quite a bit of MM.

I've still got two left on 'Precipice,' but I don't imagine I'll get them. I've got the 'finish game without dying' and the 'beat the final boss without using health items' achievements left.

I've 100% on Halo 3, Lego Indiana Jones, Viva Pinata, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock (minus the DLC achievement), and 1250 out of 1250 for Oblivion. The only other close one is Lost Odyssey, which I have all but one of (again, not including the DLC)

Call of Duty 4 - 1000 of 1000 - this one was BY FAR the most fun. So fucking hard, but so rewarding when I finally did it. Doubly awesome because they're all single player and don't require gimicky things like "Kill two people simultaneously with the Spartan Laser" like Halo3. Just good ol' 'are you good enough to beat this game on Veteran'.

Assassin's Creed - 910 of 1000 - Came so close, but couldn't bring myself to get all the damn flags, since it took so long.

Gears of War - 720 of 1250 - I would've loved to get these, but some of them were really stupidly hard to get for an casual/hardcore player. "Host 50 online matches" was especially tough, since I didn't have the patience to sit and wait until people joined up.

Halo 3 - 1000 of 1000 - Just had to do it.

CSI - Hard Evidence - 1000 of 1000 - Did it for the 1000 pts, really easy game. Only 4 achievements, 250 pts a piece. Was a fun game, but definitely not challenging.

Gun - 1000 of 1000 - was a fun game, and easy enough to get 1000 if you did all the side quests.

The rest of mine are nickel-and-dime, here-and-there.

For those of you that are 1000/1000 in Halo 3... did you boost at all? Some of those achievements I can't see myself "just getting". I'm at 890/1000 right now I think.
