Battlefield: Bad Company (X360)
Did anyone else pick this up this weekend? I just played it for a couple of hours and it's pretty sweet. I wish there was more variation for multiplayer game types, but honestly it doesn't seem to matter in the long run.

Yeah man, I picked it up too. I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought. Its not the usual dark gloomy feel you expect to get when you play a war game, its kinda funny and upbeat even during the intense parts. And it looks great too!

I'm really getting in to it, I loved the others in the series but have only ever played on PC, so wasn't sure how well it would translate. I'm really enjoying it though.

I don't own an XBox 360 and have no desire to change that.
I did, however, stumble across an ad for this game that amused me. I thought I'd share:

Have been playing it for a few days now and i'm loving it. I wish there was a jet or two but i can live :P
The story was really fun, i gotta say i was entertained the whole way through. Have been waiting for this game for a while and it is better than expected. Chopper handles really well in this one. The destructible environment is pretty damn fun. I love making my own door, and shooting down trees for cover. Really works and looks great.

Has anyone had any graphic glitches? I was playing last night and it seemed that everything had these loooong objects shooting off of it. The helicopter, my characters, etc. Each object usually has about 3 or 4 things coming off of it and it shoots right into the ground into what seems like a focal point for all of these things to intersect at. Its kinda hard to describe lol. I noticed it started really happening a lot on the mission to refuel the chopper.

See if you have this problem after 30 minutes or so of playing and/or if it happens on other graphically intense games (GTA IV for example). I had that problem with my 360, it was it's death knell. For me it meant my GPU was becoming unsoldered due to heat. Hope that's not the case for you.

I can't believe this thread isn't more lively... I figured a LOT of people were playing. Maybe the TFPers who are playing don't have time to post

I picked this up for the PS3 the other day and I'm really enjoying it. My only real beef so far is that the syringe that restores health makes the game a little too easy, as does the mortar strike weapon. I've stopped using the latter altogether and I'm enjoying the game a little more because of it.

I've seen some ads for the game, but haven't looked into it much. I'm not an online multiplayer guy, as I suck at all video games, but I have a good time playing single player stuff. I'm thankfully patient.
Is the single player campaign long, or is this a mostly multiplayer game?

Borgs, in MP? Those things make the game TOLERABLE. Assault is a pretty weak class.
