It sounds like quite an interesting concept, although Beatmania was the first computer game to attempt to simulate the role of a club DJ.

There is no other information at this time, but it’s expected that simulation turntables and a mixer will take the place of the guitar controller.

Except that real guitarists are used to being imitated. Y'know, because we're cool. I've never seen an 'air DJ' before.

I predict this will flop.

I do too, but if they get a decent tracklist going, it might bring more exposure to music that I like

hopefully this wont be a "hip hopper" type game.

i have played the guitar for a long time and I love guitar hero and rockband.

i find this a bit extreme. it's not really necessary to have that many music simulators out there. where does it stop then?

I'm not surprised, after all the music game genre is huge now, in the USA, thanks to GH and Rockband.

This DJ Hero sounds to like a rip off of Beatmania. Not sure how big it is in the states, but Beatmania is still found in some Japanese arcades.

the thing is, beatmainia is a horrible game. at least in the "dj" sense.

shoulda been called keytar hero or something. putting 7 piano keys and a craptastic imitation of a cdj jog wheel does not make for a good dj sim
