DDR for Wii
Anyone tried it for the Wii? (Dance Dance Revolution)
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...zL._AA280_.jpg I bought it a couple of weeks ago thinking it'd be fun to do with my girls, since we do this after-dinner dancing thing :p I found it was sort of difficult so I'm starting with some of the workouts to try to get into better shape. I found it really fun and know it's going to take a while to get to any level where I can actually dance and not fight to hit the right spots of the mat (controller). I know that Playstation has it as well, but my girls tell me you can't do full body on it. Anyway, I wanted to share that it's a great workout you can do when no one's around. It seems to indicate that there are levels and you get different songs and dances as you progress through the different stages and was wondering if anyone's experienced them. |
I wants it.
I have a friend who is a DDR fanatic, and so it was always a feature of college parties. I really enjoyed playing it, but I never owned a console before my Wii. So, at last, I can get DDR!!! |
woh, this ddr sounds like a combination of the old ddr with para para paradise.
if that is the case, that would be insane.....ly difficult... |
yeah i don't think i'd like the controllers in my hands. I'm usually using my hands to try to keep my balance when playing ddr ;)

Wow, this is much better than the Mario DDR they put out on GameCube. Now all I need is a Wii, and my little brother to show me the ropes (he used to compete).

I've played it when a friend brought it over. It's pretty fun (i've enjoyed DDR in general), but I found the hand gestures annoying to do. I'd rather have the game just focus on dancing with the feet.
I believe there is a way to turn the hand motions off, but I can't say for sure. And yes, it's way way better than Mario DDR for GameCube. It actually has decent songs this time around. |
