Forza 2 - less then a month!
 

So is anyone else just completely excited for Forza 2 to come out?? I loved Forza 1, played it for days on end... I cannot wait!!!

I strongly suggest this game if you like racing simulators, its very realistic.

Looks pretty cool - I'll give it a shot (though I'm not sure my computer can handle it).

I'm mildly excited I guess. The demo is pretty fun. Once it comes out I'll have to buy my car and customize it up the wazoo.

Demo was released on Xbox Live Marketplace last night. It includes one track and about 25 cars.

My only problem with the demo is that it wasn't working quite right with the 360 steering wheel.

But did you actually try the demo? reading the website is one trying trying the principal out is a totally other ballpark. the tyre physics are unbelievable and the level of online ability and passion is very high. also i prefer the gfx. They don'/t try to look uber super dooper amazing but they are toned down to allow for the massive physics engine to work out all the physics that are happening.

But Forza 2 will still be good.

Almost makes me want to buy a 360 :) Still waiting on the smaller chip

I played the demo and then went and canceled my pre-order. The game looks awesome in still shots, but when playing there is no sense of speed or acceleration. Guess I'll wait until PGR4 for another good racing game.

Absolutely. When I play a racing game I need that sense of speed and acceleration. Otherwise, what's the point?

I played the demo, tried a bunch of different cars and not once did I feel like I was in a racing game.

Great game...anyone playing this? Any recommendations on a great handling production class car, i mean a GREAT handling car, with GREAT brakes.

Nissan Silvia s15 Handles like a dream.

I brought this one back to life becuase i've been playing forza alot and didn't want to start a new thread for something that probably already had a thread for it. I've been playing forza 2 and i'm starting to get to a point where it isn't really fun any more but i do think some of the cars you can make are bad as fuck. Like i said Silvia S15's are badass in that game if you soup them up right and lotus elise are pretty bad ass if you body kit them and make the handling hella good.

I think I got right up to where I unlocked the Endurance Races, did one or two of those, and then lost interest. To be honest, I think that's also the point with Gran Turismo 3 and 4 where I lost interest. Something about just grinding away a track for hours on end.. sure, the rewards are awesome, but it's just soul crushing.
