Original Nintendo Console
I'm not sure if I can post this here, so I'll just give it a try and see what happens.
I've got an Original Nintendo Console with the manufacture date of 1984 on the bottom. I have everything that comes with it when it was purchased forever ago. I've also got about 55 games with it. I've heard these things can be worth some money now? Is this true, and if so were could I sell it? I don't really care to do the eBay thing. So that isn't an option. Thank you, |

Seeing as I have seen local used game stores selling them for about $10 a pop.. Sure there is some money but.. I mean if you got the machine, controls, 55 games and all in very good condition.. I mean $100.. tops. Still if you aren't using it you might as well sell it. Ebay is probably your best bet though.

If you have any rarer games, they'd be worth more than the hardware. Check up eBay for individual titles.

I came across a list here (Google cache). Have a gander
![]() A quick eBay search showed cartridges going from $5-25, based on the random picks I chose. You're looking at a decent amount of coinage if you sell 'em separately

Don't sell. It's not worth it. The local game shops here sell those things for like $20 (the system). The games are $1 each, including the gold-plated Zelda cartidges. If they are all in 100% mint condition you might be able to get slightly more, but it's still not worth it.

Ya I have my original NES still and about 100 games, there is no way I would sell them. My children in the future will start off playing the NES just like I did so they can appreciate where their amazing new consoles came from.

With the wide availability of ROMS for download and now the Wii VC, I'm pretty much resigning myself and my old collection (NES, SNES, etc.) to goodwill.

Anyway, that's quite a set of games you got there..Any young kid you know who doesn't have any videogames? Maybe you could give it to a young relative. Selling it won't get you much money at all.

Man, is there no nostalgia left? You can't play this shit on emulators - it just doesn't feel right. I still have the original console my brother bought back in 1985 or whenever and it's hooked up to my 32" TV right next to my Xbox. I play that thing all the time. If I were you, I would save it for my kids to have that experience, too. I'm thankful on almost a daily basis that my brother didn't pawn that thing off years ago. Plus, random friends sometimes donate more games to me when they find out I have one and they just have old games and no console lying around in the garage.
