Titan Quest
So, Is there anyone here playing the "Diablo killer?" Called Titan Quest?
I've been playing it a few days now. I have to say that it's one of the better action RPGs but its definitely not a diablo killer. The game looks but it'll grind even the best system to a halt. Who woulda thunk it that my computer runs Oblivion better than it runs this game. My first big gripe is that you character.. He never wears pants. I shouldn't say Never because I don't know what kind of armor I'll run across later. I can say however that the first 20 levels will be played pants free. You can't be a great warrior if you don't wear pants. The game is pretty big, I'll give it that. I thought I was almost finished when I got to athens since it was the last place on the portal list... I beat the boss and got sent to Egypt with a whole other portal list... Since it's compared to D2 on the box.. I might as well continue the comparisons. Unlike Diablo2, the quests are pretty forgettable. There's 4-5 per town with 6-7 towns per "act." I can't tell you one thing I've done. I can't tell you the name of one person that gave me a quest.. I can't even tell you why the Hero is even killing monsters. The start of the game gives you a nice vague "Let's find the source of the monsters..." And your off to save Greece.. and Egypt... and somewhere I haven't been yet... Overall, It's a good game and It's worth playing. I just don't plan to invest 10000+ hours playing it like I've done with D2 the past 6 years. I MIGHT play it 2 weeks before making my way back to Diablo

I've been playing this game for the past few days and I like it pretty well. Good graphics but it sometimes does lag. I haven't had too much trouble at all with the lag though, and I run the game on the highest settings with a mid range pc. I definitely agree about the worthless quests. The story is much lacking, unfortunately.
I still like the game though. I don't know how much better or worse it is than Diablo 2, as I've never played that game.

Well, this game is buggy as hell. One day after playing, I got dropped for some random reason. When I loaded the game back up, I couldn't run to the area where I had been when the game first dropped, or I would get dropped again. I fiddled with the game for several days before reinstalling the game. Unfortunately my save games got erased so I had to start a new game. I used the same name for my character and that lead to more problems because the game acted like I had already done the quests (which I had with my first char).
Anyways, that was the biggest problem I had with the game and it has only happened once so far. Ihave since upgraded to the newest patch so hopefully most of it is fixed. I like the game a lot and don't mind the weak quests anymore. I have found that they still keep me interested anyway.
