wise0132.dll error
Hi, when i insert the disk for Half Life 2 for the pc i get a error message saying:

try renaming the file glc6.tmp.bak then try installing it, it probubly can be deleted, but just incase we wont, give that a try and see if it installs after you renamed it

Its ok now, i put a new DVD drive in, when i say new i mean new to the pc, strange how a 1 year old drive doesnt work but a 5 year old one does:confused:

If that's the case you might want to look into a firmware upgrade for the DVD drive, if it's causing CRC errors on copying there should be a code fix.

hello i have the same problem.
could not installation. could not exract wise0132.dlll to 'C:/DOCUME~1?CHANDL~1.HAV/LOCALS~1/Temp/GLC8.tmp',CRC does not match. Data error (cyclic redundancy check) what can i do to fix this need plz. What do i do if i deleted this file or what ever i needed. |
