The following things have happened since Duke Nukem Forever was announced...
Ok, so making fun of Duke Nukem Forever stopped being funny quite a few years ago. But I came accross this list on Digg today, and thought it was a good laugh.

On the contrary, Duke Nukem Forever jokes will never cease to be funny. In fact, they'll be funny even if the game hits shelves and is the highest selling FPS in the history of the world, is lauded for its superb game design and tops the lists of best video game ever made in gaming publications across the world.
The whole dev process has been so long and so hilarious that it's just one of those things that doesn't get old. |

Wow. This is funny shit. I didn't know they were making a new Duke Nukem... or aren't, as the case may be.

ahahah! awesome list! that was great.
as for DNF(Duke Nukem Forever... not Did Not Finish. hehe), i think it will eventualy come out. but it might be the longest game ever! imagine if they finished it last year, all they would be doing is stories and content. 50 diff guns, 100 diff types of aliens and bad guys, 300 diff levels. thats what i predict. i just hope they got some great voice actors or theyll get laughed at and it will be the end of the duke universe.

I've had this game pre-ordered since 1998.
Well, not really, but wouldn't I be a sucker? Edit: * The concept of Bullet Time has been developed, pioneered, and completely run in to the ground. LOL

In 1998 I was a starving student playing FF VII on my precious Playstation - entranced by the graphics and gameplay ... My best friend was a Duke Nukem addict and I promised I'd try the game starting with the upcoming sequel since I couldn't afford a decent gaming PC ...
... since then I completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency. I moved from California to Rhode Island to Connecticut back to California. I am now a board-certified contract internist earning more than $300K a year. I've got a new loaded Lexus GS 430 and a few other toys ... until I read this thread I forgot I was still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever. Last edited by longbough; 06-25-2006 at 03:32 PM.. |
